Good stuff! For my taste, the music could be a tiny bit louder in relation to the drums. : )
Tobias Tho Well noted, the only issue there is the original audio drums would then be louder than my drums. It’s definitely a compromise when you can’t obtain a drumless track!
Jerrid Boutto I understand. I think it’s not that bad if we hear the original drums a little bit if you play well and matching over it. Maybe you can also EQ them out a little bit?
What I found very interesting is that people managed to get pure vocal tracks out by subtracting the instrumental from the original. Maybe you can use something like this to your advantage. Just a thought. Did you ask bands for Audio without drums? If a band auditions for a new drummer maybe that’s a source? Keep rocking!
yeah I've played around with the audio in the past and I found I prefer hearing the audio in full. Next video I'll boost the original track a bit. I am playing the parts pretty much exactly the same. I do ask each band for the tracks, but so far haven't had any luck in acquiring them. Thanks for the feedback man!
