So cool to hear Ike's and your guitar parts alone without the others layered over it 😄
I never really realized and heard Ike's bass so much until now. 🤯 Wow, I can hear him in every song now! 🤣 Sometimes your brain needs to know where to pay attention. That's amazing.
Ike is in fact just slightly above the "too low to hear" frequencies :-D From there, you only feel him ;-)
That drum intro made me think of Motorhead's Overkill.
Stef!! You are a genius!!!
This is great to hear. Thank you very much!
Ike's voice's shockingly gorgeous! Any chance to hear him as a lead singer one day? I know that he had a small part in "I stand alone" but it was so long ago :(
Yes his voice is amazing, and it play out so well as "bass guitar", because he is also a guitarist himself. Hearing Ike as lead singer is also a great idea!
How deep can you sing?
Ike: Yes.
But out of curiosity - what's the lowest bass note you can include due to his range? This sounds absurdly deep.
The deepest "regular" note that we compose for Ike is the B.
But sometimes during recording sessions (depends on the daily circumstances) Ike even hits the A or (if I remember correctly) G#, so then we use that and sing some A's one octave lower :-D
But B is the usual low end, which perfectly fits into the metal world, as 5 string bass guitars also have B as the lowest note
@@vancanto thanks for the anwser! That's really sick. Can't wait for the album.
@@vancanto I'm assuming you mean B2?! Bloody hell. What's Inga's highest note? Also, are these clean vocal parts?
@@EveryFairyDies Assuming that you're using the standard notation where A0 and B0 are first 2 white keys on the left side of a piano, then Ike's lowest note is usually B1. Five string bass guitar goes down to B0 actually, so it's not as deep. That would be super-human!
I'd really like to have the isolated tracks for some of your songs, that'd make covering them a lot easier.
Good idea!
@@vancanto Oh, then may I contact you on Facebook, for example, for further details on this?
Ja.
