Hello!! I have learned a lot from your videos. Thank you. Could you tell me why some buds of my cymbidiums die before opening the little flowers. I opened a bud pocket because I saw it with some spots from the inside and when I opened it all the little flowers that were growing fell and inside there was something sticky and brown, also that in some areas of the floral stem when I removed the cover that they have. 😢😢 so I don't know if it's a bacteria or a plague. I hope you help me. Thank you 🎉❤
So far I’ve just watched two other videos on repotting these cymbidium orchids but they kept all their roots and didn’t cut into it like this man. I’m confused to whom I should follow about repotting my cymbidium orchids.
Hi Jenny, it depends on the plant. Sometimes you just need to pot up a size and not remove any roots. Other times there is a mass of old pseudobulbs that needs to come off along with the roots that are connected to them - they are no longer needed.
@@mcbeansorchids2367 I truly appreciate you for replying back to me. Because I’ve had my cymbidium orchids for over 6 years and they’re finally doing really well this year. But they’re so big and I’ve always thought about separating them in different pots, but I didn’t want to kill them by separating them, then I came across two other videos and yours. I loved your ways of doing it but i freaked out because when I saw the other two videos they kept all the roots . So, from what I can see through your video that it is ok to cut the roots because it’ll reroot itself again.
Hi Mr McBean! I live in Australia and I just started growing orchids. I have about 10 phalalopsis and somehow the new leaves are a lot smaller than older leaves. I fertilize every two weeks with half strength orchid fertiliser. Would you please tell me what is wrong with them and please give me some advice how to improve healthy growth with lots of flowers. I wish you all the best and please do more orchird videos. Love watching your video 😍

Thank you Mr McBean for reply back to me because I know you are very busy. I really appreciate your kindness.
Eminim çok gerekli bilgiler veriyorsunuz ama keşke alt yazıda türkçe verseniz,teşekkürker
Do you water straight away after repotting? You said not to feed till after 2 months but how about watering?
Thanks for reply
Hi I noticed that you not putting any fungicide onto the back bulbs which kept onto main plant's? Is this not required? Many thanks Peter uk
Hi Peter, as long as your culture is of a decent quality no need for fungicide. We try and reduce the amount of chemicals we use at the nursery. 👍
How can we tuck them to the out side trees forever?👏
You tie them up with cotton or jute with some moss around them
Hii! How long after reporting cymbidiums does it bloom?
If you are repotting right after flowering , it will bloom the same the next year.
For me 10-12 months -
My Cymbidium orchids blooom in spring time ..
Keep feeding them monthly .
Could you please tell me what kind of knife do you use to cut the orchid?
Thanks
Any kind of knife. Serrated is a little easier
I love watching your video. Your information is so useful. It helped me to rescue my cymbidium cricket. Thank you very much

Went to dived symbidias
How can i buy that orchird ? Please
Most of the orchids on our videos are not for sale - they make up our breeding collection.
