I think they were purposely ambiguous about what happened in that in between time, and want to keep it that way... 2. I agree; I love each film, but Rob Zombie took a stab at an origin story and all it did was prove that Michael Myers is much scarier as he was originally created: a soulless shape (even 8 feet tall, 500lbs., and a beard). It's what we _don't_ know that's scary.

The part of Haddonfield's original sin, the town is cursed not just Michael. How did it start? The druids who settled here? The factories who turned people into monsters hint at Silver Shamrock. That is an interesting concept to explore Haddonfield itself it's sinister past that led to the curse of Samhain began this and 6 year old Michael to kill Judith and possibly Charlie Bowles to kill his own family on the same night of Halloween 1963. This could bring Silver Shamrock and Charlie Bowles into the original timeline and expand the story from the original film.

At 0:36 is new bc in HK you just see him attacking Allison after the stairs, but now its him walking kinda sideways away from the door. Idk thought I pointed it out. I didn't see that in the movie so idk
I liked H 1978, II, IV, V, and VI PC the most. I would be the most tempted to do a "soft reboot" of H 1978. Michael is a mentor who can offer Faustian deals. He is a safe "behind the scenes" villain. He answers to a cult who infiltrates SEEMINGLY legitimate businesses. And because it's a death cult, we can have villains from everywhere, and we don't have to worry about offending anyone.

I think on what I saw in Halloween ends with Corey turning on Micheal and ended getting killed both I think Micheal ended up dying I think he knew he was due to age and after he accepted his fate he must have transferred his soul to Corey and Corey as a ghost follows him where ever he goes and learns from it making Micheal reborn but young again I think that theory because Cory’s body was still in one piece at the end. If not planned I think that would be a good sequel
That's an intriguing theory! The idea of Michael transferring his soul to Corey opens up a lot of possibilities for future sequels. It would be interesting to see how they would explore that concept further!

I am intrigued by the reports that there will be a Halloween series on Peacock (THAT would get me to buy a subscription to the service...I've loved Halloween, since my Mom asked me and my older sister to watch it with her, when it premiered on TV in 1981, the night before Halloween II was released in theaters). However, I still very much want to see Carpenter & Hill's original theatrical movie concept, where the holiday of Halloween is the subject, and it gets depicted in different, sometimes interrelated/interconnected, stories taking place in different parts of America and different periods. Would also LOVE for there to be an official original Halloween novel, to rival the novelizations from 1979 to 1988. Of course, if there were a couple of stories that were adjacent to Carpenter and Hill's classic Michael Myers story, that would be great. Good work. Happy Halloween.

A cursed town segment intrigues me and would introduce new characters with their own stories. Only question I had was what Michael Myers' life like before killing his sister. Was he an average kid who just killed his sister out of the blue or an emotionless monster that his family never noticed until that Halloween night?
Wilson, did you write the VO speech? It's really interesting and leaves lots of room for different story ideas. It's better than my idea, which is to take what we know about Michael and run with it: • He's an ambush predator who seems to hate most people. • He silently stalks his kills. By the time you notice him, he was already looking at you, then you're dead. • Ultimately, all he really wants to do is be home alone and stare out his favorite window.... Michael Meyers is a house cat.
Loving that Juan Ramos Halloween screenprint at the beginning of this .... I'd for def give this a go although I struggle with series... however Halloween 78 is one of my all time fav movies since I saw it nearly 40yrs ago... but like the idea of it being like the twilight zone different story each time

The solution is simple on how Michael can return, I’m surprised that nobody has thought of it. They had already claimed that the 2018 film was pretty much set in a different universe. They can start a new Tv Series in a different universe as well. One where Michael is Still Alive and the 1st 2 films Halloween 2018 and Halloween Kills have happened, but not that garbage film Halloween Ends, as it never happened in the new Universe. I don't know if you did it on purpose because you actually know the origin of everything or if it was just a coincidence.
But it's true, Michael's origin goes back centuries, and that is explicitly specified in The H40 Saga (officially the only canon of Halloween).
Michael is NOT the killer, the killer is "The Shape", the ancestral malevolent entity that possessed Michael when he was a child.
Michael is NOT evil, he is not guilty of anything, he is simply one more victim, a victim of "The Shape", an entity whose first host was the child Enda, and its first victim was The Princess Deirdre.

All they gotta do is start from the beginning. It can start from his biological parents, giving birth to him. Then him growing up, not fitting in. Kind of like what rob zombie did, but with the original John Carpenters look. Pro long the show with, witches, and other serial killers as well. Make Haddonfield not a nice place to live, because the people have secret's..

I agree; I love each film, but Rob Zombie took a stab at an origin story and all it did was prove that Michael Myers is much scarier as he was originally created: a soulless shape (even 8 feet tall, 500lbs., and a beard). It's what we _don't_ know that's scary.

The part of Haddonfield's original sin, the town is cursed not just Michael. How did it start? The druids who settled here? The factories who turned people into monsters hint at Silver Shamrock. That is an interesting concept to explore Haddonfield itself it's sinister past that led to the curse of Samhain began this and 6 year old Michael to kill Judith and possibly Charlie Bowles to kill his own family on the same night of Halloween 1963. This could bring Silver Shamrock and Charlie Bowles into the original timeline and expand the story from the original film.

I liked H 1978, II, IV, V, and VI PC the most. I would be the most tempted to do a "soft reboot" of H 1978. Michael is a mentor who can offer Faustian deals. He is a safe "behind the scenes" villain. He answers to a cult who infiltrates SEEMINGLY legitimate businesses. And because it's a death cult, we can have villains from everywhere, and we don't have to worry about offending anyone.

I think on what I saw in Halloween ends with Corey turning on Micheal and ended getting killed both I think Micheal ended up dying I think he knew he was due to age and after he accepted his fate he must have transferred his soul to Corey and Corey as a ghost follows him where ever he goes and learns from it making Micheal reborn but young again I think that theory because Cory’s body was still in one piece at the end. If not planned I think that would be a good sequel
That's an intriguing theory! The idea of Michael transferring his soul to Corey opens up a lot of possibilities for future sequels. It would be interesting to see how they would explore that concept further!

Interesting concept. I am intrigued by the reports that there will be a Halloween series on Peacock (THAT would get me to buy a subscription to the service...I've loved Halloween, since my Mom asked me and my older sister to watch it with her, when it premiered on TV in 1981, the night before Halloween II was released in theaters). However, I still very much want to see Carpenter & Hill's original theatrical movie concept, where the holiday of Halloween is the subject, and it gets depicted in different, sometimes interrelated/interconnected, stories taking place in different parts of America and different periods. Would also LOVE for there to be an official original Halloween novel, to rival the novelizations from 1979 to 1988. Of course, if there were a couple of stories that were adjacent to Carpenter and Hill's classic Michael Myers story, that would be great. Good work. Happy Halloween.

A cursed town segment intrigues me and would introduce new characters with their own stories. Only question I had was what Michael Myers' life like before killing his sister. Was he an average kid who just killed his sister out of the blue or an emotionless monster that his family never noticed until that Halloween night?

It's better than my idea, which is to take what we know about Michael and run with it:
• He's an ambush predator who seems to hate most people.
• He silently stalks his kills. By the time you notice him, he was already looking at you, then you're dead.
• Ultimately, all he really wants to do is be home alone and stare out his favorite window....

Loving that Juan Ramos Halloween screenprint at the beginning of this .... I'd for def give this a go although I struggle with series... however Halloween 78 is one of my all time fav movies since I saw it nearly 40yrs ago... but like the idea of it being like the twilight zone different story each time

The solution is simple on how Michael can return, I’m surprised that nobody has thought of it. They had already claimed that the 2018 film was pretty much set in a different universe. They can start a new Tv Series in a different universe as well. One where Michael is Still Alive and the 1st 2 films Halloween 2018 and Halloween Kills have happened, but not that garbage film Halloween Ends, as it never happened in the new Universe.
