Michael and Jason are arguably to of the most recognizable characters on horror history, so I think miramax is trying to capitalize off of that. Two competing shows about the most popular villains in horror history would generate a TON of buzz. Either way, I’m super pumped for both of them.

Follow Loomis' obsession with Michael's evil after the 78 events as The Shape pops up in Haddonfield, terrorizing people at night. That's been my idea since I first heard of a Halloween TV show.
Dr Loomis wasn't in those movies, only that wannabe Loomis character, or other then the flashback scenes unless ur talking bout the rob zombie version of Loomis which is horrible

Go back to the original novelization with the festival of Samhain place that in 63, it was arranged by Silver Shamrock and the evil curse was placed over Haddonfield. Loomis investigates this after H1 unrevealing these twists and leading to a bigger story covering what led to the 63 and 78 nights so it's a prequel/follow up to the original film.

I always felt like their ability to mix the stories and best moments of all the films in a franchise to one (except NOES) was great. The Friday the 13th remake was like a mega mix of all the films with a fresh spin. Hope this show is like that

The reason he was dying was because he was dying from multiple infections since he had untreated wounds that got infected. But if you seen the movie, you would know what really killed him. Which was, Laurie slitting his throat, his wrist and stabbing him in the arm pit causing him to bleed to death. So no he didn’t die from old age

Something I’ve always clamored to see in the Halloween franchise, if they decide to jump off of that 1978 movie or just reboot it, is something akin to the 78 movie’s ending. Michael just vanishes that night when he escapes Smith Grove’s and is just on the loose. He’d become the town’s Boogeyman and some kind of a myth, returning every Halloween or so to skepticism from locals. The new series could jump off of a random encounter with him on one of these proceeding Halloween’s and establish Michael as preexisting in this world, leaving opening the option for movies about what Michael did between the newest movie and his escape. Just my opinion on the direction though.
Bro I was literally thinking the rackaracka brothers would be so sick for Halloween as I'm watching this vid right before you go and mention how they're who you first thought of for new upcoming horror directors/writers. I thought the exact same thing I absolutely loved "talk to me" but yea they could def do something pretty cool & different with Michael for sure.
I mean, if they did a TV show of Nightmare on Elm Street prequel shown from the POV of the parents trying to hunt down Freddie while he was alive with snippets of how he learned to communicate with who or whatever they decide to give him the ability to come back with in the rebooted movie. Like anything else, execution is key, so they need to get the look and tone right, of course after having good scripts/teleplays and so on. Cautiously excited.
An idea for the tv series.. Give us Sheriff Brackets perspective.. His family life, and the strain the Myers case put on his life and family.. Losing his daughter, Annie.. Show us Bracket trying to overcome that as he vows to catch Myers for good

He’d become the town’s Boogeyman and some kind of a myth, returning every Halloween or so to skepticism from locals. The new series could jump off of a random encounter with him on one of these proceeding Halloween’s and establish Michael as preexisting in this world, leaving opening the option for movies about what Michael did between the newest movie and his escape. Just my opinion on the direction though.
Sounds to me like they are going the bates motel route. The build up and life of Michael before he put the first clown mask on to take out his sister.
Hopefully we'll one day get Laurie as a copycat killer or anti-hero or get Michael Myers as an anti-hero.
Bro I was literally thinking the rackaracka brothers would be so sick for Halloween as I'm watching this vid right before you go and mention how they're who you first thought of for new upcoming horror directors/writers. I thought the exact same thing I absolutely loved "talk to me" but yea they could def do something pretty cool & different with Michael for sure.

I mean, if they did a TV show of Nightmare on Elm Street prequel shown from the POV of the parents trying to hunt down Freddie while he was alive with snippets of how he learned to communicate with who or whatever they decide to give him the ability to come back with in the rebooted movie. I'd be down for that.

Like anything else, execution is key, so they need to get the look and tone right, of course after having good scripts/teleplays and so on.

An idea for the tv series..
Give us Sheriff Brackets perspective.. His family life, and the strain the Myers case put on his life and family.. Losing his daughter, Annie.. Show us Bracket trying to overcome that as he vows to catch Myers for good
I’m honestly hyped for this new timeline.
