All instrumentalists, including flutists (of course!): do you have a favorite way to practice arpeggios? I think it's always healthy to vary the routine. I might want to try YOUR way to practice these! 🙂
Dear April❢ I've been waiting for your video for a long time. Your lessons are always informative, easy to understand, and interesting. They can help us solve musical and technical difficulties. I look forward to seeing more wonderful videos from you. All the best. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼Your friend Satoru
Haha - it's OK! Nobody asked, "where did the arpeggios go?" after you played. 🙂 Often I make a video once I catch myself repeating info to multiple people - and since I've had a lot of students doing scales and arpeggios pre-jury time, I felt: this is good info to put into a video! So thanks for the video inspiration! ❤
Hi April, I am adult learner. I love all your teaching videos, but sometimes I miss little bit of music theory. Could you please recommend few practical Music Theory books? 🙏🙏
That is an excellent question you ask! Double flats and double sharps seem strange, but they really are out there, and actually are theoretically sound, even if annoying! 😅 You may have figured this out on your own before I managed to answer: a B double-flat is a B that's flatted not once, but twice. The pitch ends up being the same as A natural. 🙂

Looking forward to trying this, thank you!
Great! I am going to leave a general comment about this... I'd be interested in hearing other people's arpeggio/technique regimens as well!
You are really good teacher, everything you teach is high class! Your friend, Livia!

You asked for everything on F and I played all the scales but realized later that night that I forgot arpeggios 😳🙈

39 years teaching!!!!!😳😳😳😳 Good grief, teacher, you look like you're just a couple of years beyond that. Really you could go for 39 years old.😁😁😁😁
