I was watching Johnny Carson rerun from 1980 and Pete comes on. So freakin funny. My Mom really got him. We laughed at his routine when he wore a 45 record on his ear and especially playing the "Chordine ". Always loved his sense of off beat crazy humor 🤣. Thanks Pete 👌 😊
This is amazing, My dad Norman Elliott was in Pete's band in Las Vegas in the early sixties... They were called 'The Fabulous Millionaires' I wonder if there are any recordings of their variety act out there... That would be wonderful to see! thanks for posting this :)
This is from the May 30, 1964 episode of an ABC-TV variety show called "The Hollywood Palace." The guest host that night was comedian Phil Harris.
Guess what I said got deleted.
Thank You Pete!
58 years later and Pete is still with us. This will be out of date next month.

I love his 4th trumpet bit. 😂
PLEASE, if you can, upload Pete playing the broom!
I think he was saying music had become talentless copies of each other. If he only knew...😳
So organic
Mr DiFlorio. Why can't I add a comment on Zero Mostel Jimmy Durante video? It's pure genius, made my day!
I could easily see Tina Fey doing this bit...this is just her style. It'd be interesting to see what she looked like in 1964.
