- Here’s our very first 2020 Tacoma TRD Pro 4x4 Truck. This is the truck for the full-blown, drive off the lot and go off-road today. Sure the TRD Pro looks great, now it's time to use it for what it was truly designed to do.

The question, are you really going to take this off-road? Every day as I drive down the city streets here in Madison I see some awesome 4x4 trucks that are absolutely "spotless and dent-free". Clearly all show, NO-GO off-road trucks or owners.

Best Looking Truck On The Road But 50K=No Way!! 40K Would Be More Like it For What it is. I Have a 05 Trd Sport 4x4 Manual and Still Love Mine.
People are complaining of the price, like for the same money, you would buy a base model gladiator with nothing, on it and the ford ranger with just the fx4 offroad package is like 55k. So i think this truck is a deal

some people just complain. if they didn't have the internet they'd be kicking the cat or yelling at mom so maybe better they just troll the net with nonsense complaints. nobody ever put a gun to anyone's head and make them buy the highest trim truck and if it costs too much then it won't sell. is toyota having trouble selling them? no. toyota's problem is always not being able to make enough to meet demand.
That color fits that Tacoma perfectly.

Like he said, phenomenal resell value. I bought a 2009 used in 2012 for 28000$, sold it in 2017 for 23000$. You never lose buying a toyota.

It’s exactly the same truck as 2019 I have the TRD pro 2019 and nothing change just the color I have the blue voodoo but I have to tell you guys it’s amazing truck.

Why did Toyota remove the left side pocket in the bed? Toyota took the shelf from the glove box? Can you still get the rear lighted usb ports in the back of the center console?

What happen if the sensor or the camera on the front grill get damage by a rock or debris ?

Drum brakes provide more braking force than an equal diameter disc brake, and generate lower heat , and cheaper to maintain, this is not an oversight by the engineering department.

Completely true. They are reported going 150k plus miles before needing maintenance. Truck stops as good as alot of sedans. So what's the problem?
They say they sell it at 45k to 48k but dealer markups and add ons it’s over 50k maybe close to 60k out the door no way it’s too much for what you get

all v6 tacos from (i think) 2018 on have the tx cooler, engine cooler, steering cooler, bigger aletrnator, brake controller, and hitch standard. the first two years of the 3rd gen tacos sold the "tow package" for v6's separately.

@@letsfindout6587 2020 does not come in Cavalry Blue unfortunately... I'm in the same boat. I can save tons by getting a Cav Blue 2019 TRD OR DCSB, but... I kinda need those power seats.

Why isn’t the hood scoop functional?
Good question. The primary purpose of a functional hood scoop is to direct more air into the engine. However, with an off-road vehicle, a functional hood scoop could funnel water into the engine which would not be good.
Talking CarBiz. Ah. Makes sense. One of the previous models had the snorkel attached to it. Was thinking it would be cool if the hood scoop was functional this time. But, that makes sense about off roading.
The Toyota engineers said that it would cause turbulence in the engine compartment and have less cooling as a result
@@tommisera3816 so the cliff notes version is because they just wanted a cosmetic hood ornament that looks cool in the mall parking lot. theoretically, you could enable the skyewp with after market parts. tacos never have a shortage of after market parts to replace everything on the truck in every color.

Honestly love tacomas, but don't see how the resale value will hold up. Consumers are wanting better fuel mileage and more power, in an age where green this and that 10yrs and this truck could be worth nothing! I think overall still would buy it but the price point is 10k to high IMO
Only time will tell. I'm surprised by how much 10 yr old Toyotas are worth Today. It's been said that a 100,000 mile Toyota is better than a 50k Chevy.

it has power seats (4:40) and what difference does it make to you if it has drums in the back, other than you have to repair discs 3x as often and aren't as reliable when they get wet?
