This fuckin’ thing is dead now. We caught it’s last test before death, and witnessed it die. The siren initially failed to activate because the resets on the motor starters tripped. PW guy reset them, manually kicked it off. Then a second radio activation was performed, and all the sirens activated. The blower reset on this one then tripped. So he takes the panel door back off, and does some tests, check the amp draw on each leg of incoming power and such. She’s drawing a lot of amps, and as I understand it, more than it should draw. When he checked the last leg, the blower didn’t hit full speed. He gave it plenty of time, but it genuinely struggled so much that it just didn’t. And then the blower motor let out the smoke. When he went to try and activate it again after that... it didn’t. None of the switches worked. It will be repaired.
Incorrect. What happened is, the blower tripped the reset and cut out before the end of the test. Upon further diagnostics, the public works guy noticed that the blower was pulling far too many amps, and was struggling to reach full speed. In fact, when he was checking amp draw on the last leg of power he needed to check, it never even reached full speed, and the blower motor began smoking. If it comes down to it, a new blower motor will be ordered.
The siren was supposed to fully shut off after the public works guy shut it off with his radio. But only the blower deactivated and the siren kept rotating with the chopper still sounding, therefore he had to deactivate it via control box. (It was a radio malfunction)
There wasn’t really a manual Growl. There was just one manual test and one radio activated test. There was also no “pitch malfunctions” because that was just the blower shutting off and the siren getting quieter.
The second activation was conducted by radio. The blower motor tripped the reset midway through. Upon further diagnostics, we determined that the blower motor is most likely bad.
I like the sirens in the background at the beginning.
What happened with the blower at the beginning?
The publics work guy was manually testing the blower.
It sure blew a lot of dirt out!
@@OWS_Crazy1 dam that thing needs to be cleaned
Awesome! Hope to see more Holliday siren tests in the future!
Ya that would be awesome!
Valra Bellkeys: i’m going to be heading down to Moore Oklahoma on the 27th for a Thunderbolt
Wow...... this is a beautiful video! Amazing job as always 😁
Thank you so much! You make amazing videos to!
OWS Crazy1 LoL thanks!
which one of you do i subscribe?
what am i saying i sub you both
Was there a 1003 doing hi lo and a 1000T doing alert at the start?
No, it was just another 1000T and a 2t22
@@OWS_Crazy1 oh that explains the high pitch.
the other 1000T is a B series too
Dat rotator tho! Also this thing is cursed ngl. Low mounted, and seems to have blower and radio problems

Not often you see a B-Series around! The only B series I saw was Salter Park's. The one that got replaced by a 2001-130
Sadly
Nice video! Really cool ambiance, too!
Thanks!
The siren I went to didn't activate due to cancellation. Awesome bolt though!
0:47 u can hear the other b series thunderbolt
You should film the Whelen sirens in Wichita Falls, they mostly do the wailing tone like Plano and Frisco.
4:20 suddenly it went reverse wired
Nope, that’s just the blower shutting off
The bts video link isn't working.
God I hope they are NOT decommissioning these Thunderbolts!
Not any time soon, this one got fixed, and the other has been working perfectly fine
I saw on a Texas siren map it said all their sirens are inactive lol. Not true ;-;
has blower problems there nearer at the end.. unless the blower motor just completely failed or was it turned off ?
At the end, When the blower shut off.
The rest of the siren was supposed to shut off to but it kept running.
Incorrect.

Weird testing
4:20 what the hell sound is high pitch 😂😂😂😂😂

Drexelious bruh it was being sounded off manually, although the blower did fail at the end.
@@pennsy77 i know that... it was the radio like the OWS said
*i t f a i l e d* is what im trying to say here *i t f u c k e d u p*
Awesome video! She sounds nice and healthy.
Thanks!
This Thunderbolt has a cursed blower
This whole siren is cured lol
OWS Crazy1 true
At 2:20, That's like GPW Start up
that means grosse pointe woods right?
@@OWS_Crazy1 Yes, what else would it be?
Not at all.. Plus most bolts sound like that on windups..
Fire Alarms & sirens: not at all what?
OWS Crazy1 dude.. lol
Is That Still Here and Is it Still Functional ? If it is Can i have The Location ?
Yes the siren is still functional of course. And the location is in the description.
But I would recommend going to the other one because this one doesn’t very well
I would recommend going to this one instead: 419 N West Ave
Holliday, TX 76310
United States
@@OWS_Crazy1 Thank You I Could Go There Next Month
Ok, I’ll meet up with you if you want, do you have a discord or instagram by any chance?
Man B-Series thunderbolt choppers seem to have a longer wind down. Or maybe this one does.
The reason the wind down seemed longer is because the blower shut off at the end
Nice Video! Sounds great!
Thanks so much!
That rotator looks off
thats because its a B series, B series t-bolts have offset rotators
damn the blower on this thing sucks. died mid test lol.
I hear a 1003 at the beggining
The nearest 1003 is in archer city, and they test the day before this day
The thunderbolt logo is on the wrong side
Bro you always have no proof that it is
Oof the blower died.
for maximum views, put "tornado siren death" in place of "siren"
Beautiful...
Ows
Crazy 1
i think this siren is dyeing, rip
Yes it’s deyeieng
What a nice video :)
Thanks, I can’t go to the siren today because of Band
OWS Crazy1 I understand my friend, do what ever you do bro :)
I can’t do anything on the first Wednesday of August because I have band starting on July 29th
OWS Crazy1 Ok. I'm glad we met you for 5 times :)
Adam Carter: ya! Of course
OWS crasy1
Awesome
Manual Growl then two Alert Signals with pitch fluctuations

At 0:51 that was the blower/Air compressor. Being activated manually
I recorded a siren about a year ago What is the MAJOR Pitch malfunctions
ua-cam.com/video/neD1HJD01b8/v-deo.html
just goes to show how unreliable the B Series Thunderbolts are.
Poor b series is a piece of shit, Great Video!
Doesn’t sound like it’s doing good.
the reason the blower was doing all that weird stuff is because the guy was doing a manual test
But right now the siren is not doing too well
OWS Crazy1 ok
OWS Crazy1 ok

It doesn’t sound very healthy
It is pretty healthy for it’s age despite the radio malfunctions.
