- I bought this game and the DLC as well. I highly recommend buying it as it is one of the best, if not the best, PCVR experiences in 2024. I would seriously consider this DLC as a VR GOTY 2024 candidate. The map of Soca Valley Slovenia and the town and the whitewater rapids are absolutely stunning. I don't care about frame rate
You are sorely mistaken about motion sickness ...... I am a seasoned canoeist and having the boat bob up and down in the waves without my body actually moving up and down makes me sick almost immediately ....... I begged the dev to make an wave free version and they never did.
You video almost made me sick just watching it.
It has very little to do with frame rate .....
That said Kayak VR is the amazing VR experience I have ever engaged in ..... Absolutely top notch .....
Bought it. Got the dlc totally disappointed.. it's OK detail wise. ..but once done soon got bored

I agree that this game looks great, but disagree that it is worth the money. It is a good demo of VR visuals, but I find that I almost never play because the maps are way too few and way too small.
That said, the DLC looks like what I thought the main game would be. Hopefully they keep supporting the games with new maps like this one.
@@JamesBond-qv2ht I think your expectations are a bit too high, this is the best experience of its kind. If the DLC map was any bigger, most people would tap out from exhaustion before fully exploring it.

It's def worth the money compared to the other vr game's I've played.
Well worth it
Far too boring for game of the year. A decent game is so much more than graphics alone.
It also is impressive physics wise
