This was a fun one to color along with! The background is so pretty! At first I wasn't sure about the grass green, but with the snow addition I love it!
Thanks so much for sharing this color along Rachel , I thoroughly enjoyed it. Even when I at first stepped out of my comfort zone and followed your background ideas. Wow that came out great, thanks! I'm so glad you did a page in this book and with Polychromos too.
This is a beautifully coloured page, Rachel. I am watching for tips on colouring a reindeer for my Rita Berman Lande book page. I made a start last night with some of the berries. X
@@RachelHendersonColouring Yes, they are great to colour. I have learnt my berry-colouring from you. I think for me, I like seeing how adding the darker shades and shadow around the edges makes the berry go from being flat to becoming rounded...like magic...before your eyes. I have finished colouring the berries on my Rita Berman reindeer page but have been procrastinating on colouring the reindeer. I re-watched this video and I have had a go tonight and am pleased with my attempt, adding the white pen in areas where the fur is paler, makes a difference. I just have to colour the ears and antlers, then think about the Fair Isle scarf. I have an idea for my background. I was experimenting with the snowy background tutorial in Helen Elliston's book (just on a piece of scrap paper), so I may try something along those lines, we shall see... I did see someone recommend using blending stumps for getting soft pastel into small areas so I bought some Derwent ones and will try it. Have a lovely Friday, it is my day off although I have got lots of chores to get done, but I will get some colouring done afterwards x
@@julieibbotson6193 Sounds like your page is coming along beautifully. I do hope you enjoy your day off. Friday's all the family are home so the weekend starts for us. However, everyone always has plenty to do! Both boys have essays to work on, husband has his Christmas cards to write and I am sure I will find something to keep me busy lol!! (Actually I have new Magical Worlds series to start filming which I am looking forward to!) I hope that you have a fantastic weekend x
@@RachelHendersonColouring Sounds busy but I am sure you will all get things done and enjoy some relaxation too. I am excited to see what is next in Magical Worlds! I have just purchased the Colouring Heaven Christmas Magazine (Traditional) through your link, as I have been enjoying watching your Christmas colouring tutorials and needed some Christmassy pages to have a go at x

Beautiful Rachel I love your background....regardless of how old you are, you should be allowed to go to the loo.that's my opinion and should never have to avoid drinking because of this x
