I’m not familiar with this radio station or this interviewer but she is AWESOME. A really great interviewer. She asked good questions and was very likable. Enjoyed this a lot.
My wife and I enjoyed Trevor on Roast Battle and were sold on Letterkenny just because of him. Thanks for a really nice interview, sending happiness and love from Denver, CO, USA.
This is an amazing interview, and I've never seen this interviewer work before, but Candy is perfect as a conversationalist. Seems very natural and relaxed. Well done.
If y'all haven't seen letter Kenny it is an extremely hilarious show that is very well written by a team of writers that has a love of literary devices that when heard in the spoken form are even funnier somehow. it's also a great look into Canadian life at least in some aspects, and there's just so many amazing characters I don't even know where to begin the goth emo meth kids are f****** phenomenal the two Meathead hockey player kids will have you bursting at the f****** sides with their back and forth, Wade or Wayne the dude who's always interrupting everybody is a f****** riot, the show has so many moments of solid gold I really think it hasn't caught on in the Americas yet but I have a feeling that it will because humor knows no borders, now nor never
John Candy was a genius! Still breaks me heart we lost him so young. Very genuine actor with perfect timing. One of the all time greats. The Joe Montana/john Candy super bowl story...one of the best all time sports stories!
I LOVED JOHN CANDY AND ALWAYS WILL. CRIED SO HARD WHEN HE DIED. So incredibly funny, yet endearing, charming, sweet and always seemed like Such a genuinely nice guy; no one ever said a bad word about him in real life. Everyone who ever came in contact with him, from his daughter, wife and family, to those who worked with him, interviewed him or knew him said he was wonderful. Still miss him. Still watch his movies especially Uncle Buck, Plains Trains and Automobiles (still the greatest thanksgiving movie ever made) and The Great Outdoors. He’s a true Legend.
Big Trev! I was so happy when I saw him in Letterkenny, I've had SexCop FirePenis for a while now, and it's one of my favorite standup albums, always great to see this funny bastard getting to make people smile!
I'm listening while I'm working in the garage and thinking, this is a damn great interview. So, I look to see who the interviewer is and whoa! It's Candy! Funny as hell and a great interviewer. Great questions. This really showed how likable Trevor is in real life.
K. Trevor, you deserve all of your success, putting your passion before anything else is key. One day a relation ship will happen with someone who understands this... then you will have it all, and then some.
Great actor on Letterkenny. Kudos to being the youngest to go through Second City Toronto. Props to including John Candy in this interview. I can see some of John Candy in Wilsons acting on Letterkenny. Facial expressions and isms. Keep up the good work!
A thing i started asking my self part way through, specifically when they were speaking about john candys romantic leads...i think hes got the charm and charisma to play an endearing goofy odd couple mainstream movie at least.
His explanation of Squirrelly Dan speaking important insights while describing them awkwardly resonates w/ the way I text & make random comments about obesity just b/c I’m a skinny tart whose justs got jealousies ‘bout geniuses.
You know you've made it when your agent changes your name a little, and then you push everyone with the original name to Google's nosebleed section in search.
Why is the overwhelming tone of this interview about being overweight and successful? Hes not successful for being fat, hes a successful comedian because hes hilarious not just because hes overweight
HANMER REPRESENT! I can definitely feel what he said about Dan being well read, but not very well spoken regarding some of the concepts that come up in his lines no matter how unrefined it sounds.
Sorry my answer to the small town question im from a small town in northern ireland (9000 odd people while I was a teenager) and although there's a huge ocean between us and we're letterkenny is set we all know folks like the characters same with the trailer park boys small towns are small towns no matter where they are
i would like to meet that man I didn't even know he was comedian if he came to Culver's of Marquette Michigan I would most likely offer to buy him lunch it pick at his brain he is the kind of funny I like I laughed for hrs he is a funny man
Love the show (what little I've been able to see of it). A real pity CBC has the show geo-blocked making it impossible to legally watch the show outside of Canada. This is too good a show to be held back like this. You guys should shop the show to Netflix or Amazon and gain the global audience you deserve.
The problem is you are using Joe Rogan as a bench mark. This interviewer is much closer to how interviewing is typically carried out: get the person talking and stay out of the way.
Here in Illinois my friends and I relate 😂 I'm basically the Illinois equivalent of squirrelly Dan (minus the attentions paid to my buttshole 😂) one of my buddies is like Wayne and my other buddy is like Dary 😂
you mean at 14:04 where he said no such thing? what he said was "take a shot at the president", which means parodying or making satirical commentary as some comedians have done to gain a momentary flash of increased notoriety. i hope wisdom has taken to a closer friendship with you in years since you made that comment.
I appreciates what he does.
Is that what you appreciate about him?

I’m not familiar with this radio station or this interviewer but she is AWESOME. A really great interviewer. She asked good questions and was very likable. Enjoyed this a lot.
totally agree! She was dope! :)
Indeed. She asked very normal but thoughtful questions and did not interrupt. Two things somewhat uncommon these days
@Joe Smith ok thanks for info!
@@rebeccahopkins9522 Sadly she passed away in Dec 2021 - Agreed, this was a great interview.

Great interview, beautifully prepared set of questions, elegantly asked and answered. Two real pros at work!
My wife and I enjoyed Trevor on Roast Battle and were sold on Letterkenny just because of him. Thanks for a really nice interview, sending happiness and love from Denver, CO, USA.
Also from Denver echoing what you're saying good buddy.
Big love from Hebron Illinois! Town population of 1200. you guys nail small town problems. And I appreciates that.
Wow I love him even more than I did already... I’m so glad I watched this.
Putting this in my “feel-good content” folder 🙏
these two made love after this. It sounded like an "applause"
I tried to teach myself to speak Squirrelly Dan. Turns out it was harder than learning to speak Spanish and there is no Rosetta Stone course for it.
I didn't know I could love him more as a person but here we are.
Squirrely Dan is my favourite character on Letterkenny.
I like dale. But dans my second favorite. Followed by shorsey prob.

I live in a place that has A LOT of squirrels. They startle me sometimes, and I say, "Whoah, there Squirrelly Dan!!"
Love you, sir.
I like how in a couple episodes Dan would refer to a comedian who he can't remember the name of. He is referring to himself
"He an okay guy?"
"Seems pretty nice..."
This is an amazing interview, and I've never seen this interviewer work before, but Candy is perfect as a conversationalist. Seems very natural and relaxed. Well done.

“We’re not doing a parody, we’re doing a tribute.” Beautiful words right there and I agree!
great interview. you really asked great questions and follow ups. thank you. the show is crass but so well written and amazing talent.

The Joe Montana/john Candy super bowl story...one of the best all time sports stories!
You should watch the tribute video Ryan Reynolds made for John candy. It's heartwarming.

i miss Shad, but I've been pleased with Candy these past few weeks.
Broke my heart to hear he ain’t a country boy, he plays it so good
So genuine. Vote K Trevor for the next Prime Minister
He is my favorite on Letterkenny. I watched the Attentions opener yesterday and that is still the funniest scene in the show to me.
I wanna see Candy play Squirrelly Dan's love interest so bad
Very talented. Thank you K.TeeDub
Also: my dad was an entertainer (musician) Props Thank you for your contribution We all need it

RIP Candy. I hated your character in TPB, but you were a great actress and from what I hear a real life sweetheart..
Isn't that baseball Bat Booty from TPB? Love you K Tevor Wilson, keep the chuckles coming
