truly one of the best worst movies of the 80s. i adore this movie so much!!! it's so gloriously cheesy 80s... the big hair, the hammy dialogue, the nonsense plot, the random musical numbers... and the LOOKS louise serves. gdi. im glad someone else appreciates this movie.

I'm curious. Who is the character like you would like to be now as an adult? I always loved Louise Miller, but I also loved how spunky her best friend was. Louise wanted so desperately to fit in and "get the cute guy" that she cast a spell to be accepted. In the real world, you have to learn yourself and be accepted by the people who are important to you and not by everybody. She realized that she wanted Brad to love her at the end, but really she should have loved herself 1st.
I definitely liked her friend Polly a lot! And admittedly, if I were a teen back then, I would have crushed on Rhet Capiletti too! “he’s just sooo funky” But my favorite was her theater teacher, Ms. Malloy!!! She always reminded me of some of my favorite teachers I had in school! Kinda eccentric and quirky, but incredibly sweet, with a zest for life! That’s what I wanna be when I grow up lol!!! 💜💕💫
