So I made fun of you the first time I watched this video. Because I thought to myself I would never play basketball in any of the LeBrons I own. Come to find out earlier today I was going through my collection and I noticed that my LeBron low 15 had a nail in the heel which means the unit was compromised. So I literally found myself in a similar situation that you were in. It's a good thing that I had already watched all three of your videos before discovering what it happened to my shoe. So now I'm taking the same steps that you took to get your result hopefully. Thanks a lot.

Foam compresses, air bags pop. But while compressed foam is still playable, popped air totally wrecks a shoe.

Dude it's been a long time since I watched in your channel since the day i change my account. That's why i felt incomplete watching other shoe reviews. Hahahahaha i quickly subscribe at your channel as soon as i saw it. 😅
question is how hard was the impact during that collision and was it enough to make the shoe bend in such a way that would screw up or break the cushion? I got both the 15 and 16. the 15 is still holding up well and I've been sing it outdoors for walks, jogs, sprints and outdoor hoops and so far is still alive. maybe it is some sort of defect for the 16 and do find that the air cushion to be a bit more denser than the 15 on the middle part. having said that I just might use the 16 for lighter scrimmage and play it safe. so far, my beaters for hard scrimmages are the air maestro 2 and the J32s.

just sold my Air penny 1 varsity red because i feel that the nubuck was starting to shred and guess what?, after a few bbal games that the buyer had made, it had made a sole separation, damn it was in good condition whan i sold it but it was aged perhaps 4 yr old dead stock shoes, displayed on may rack with silica gel put when not in used, the problem is that, it only goes with an AC when we were asleep at night and at days, the room is hot...i hope it wouldn't happen to my air up more tempo 1 retro(Pippen 1) cause i really like that shoes a lot
Love the LeBron 16! Only shoe I have more than one of. The colorways have been hit or miss for me, but there are some dope ones. The Martin ones are pretty dope, and the MLPS Lakers ones are also fresh 👌If you decide to get the watch the throne ones, definitely play in them
The MPLS editions are one of the most slept on kicks of the year.

I had the same problem with my KD 10 I still had my receipt and took it back to the Nike store for an exchange and I got the KD 11 with no hassle.

The Bron 16 was interesting. A lot of people like it more than the 15 but the 16 never fit my feet right. I even went a half size down but never felt like the shoe was fully locking me in and when you're on top of that crazy cushion, that feeling throws you off your game
Get the new ones. But don't be surprised when they pop. All 3 of my kids play competitive basketball, and we've gone through 2 pairs of KD9s and one Lebron 15 low. The exposed zoom air unit just doesn't hold up. Maybe it's not totally common, but it's common enough. My kids loved both the KD9s and the Lebron 15s, but they just didn't hold up.
That situation is quite similar with my Jordan Superfly 3 PO. It's just sad man.

I have both the mids and lows. I prefer the lows but haven’t had an issue with either. I use the Lebron 16’s to play basketball and volleyball...traction is amazing! I bought the Black and “Glo” and those are fire in hand. Get the Superbron low or the Thrones.
I have had mine since release with daily heavy use but i haven't noticed any significant problems. And i found a court where the traction really doesn't work but it is not even hardwood, so i can't complain. Now actually the traction pattern is kind of ripping but it grips like Day one!
The airbag in my KD 9 popped recently, I really liked those shoes too 😢
Those were the most comfortable kds ever i had multiple pairs and the air bags popped on all of them.

mine popped too, the curved rubber on the medial side of the heel punctured the bag. I contacted nike and they said it was from a sharp foreign object :(

Mine didn’t pop but they swell up and got bigger .. peeled off my outsole. I had to pop the air out
Hit your Nike Outlet, they have the all black with the gold heal in all sizes near me. & mine is a pretty small one.

Depends on your style of play TBH and the outsole of the shoe sometimes plays a factor for example clear (translucent) outsoles are more likely to wear out faster. Overall I think they'd be very durable but I personally haven't played in these LeBron's yet. I have watched multiple reviews however and they were a shoe I was going to purchase.

Same over here. Bought the Lebron 16 Fresh Breds the Day the dropped and what a great Sneaker to play in. I was amazed.
BUT after 6 Times playing the Traction got detached. The glue gave up. Man, that was disappointing . Got my Money back tho but I stepped away from the 16. For that Price I expected great Quality.

I would get the Lebron 16 Glow. I just got a pair and the overall lockdown is much better than the Fresh Bred and the Oreo colorway. I had a bit of heel slip in them even with the lace adjustment.

You can dip it in a bowl of water then squeeze the problem area. Find the bubble and usually its where the hole is
Get the Bo Jackson 16s or the SuperBrons (but if you get those...you MAY get an INJURY AND a popped air unit! 😆🔥) the Watch the Thrones are dope too.
Why r u asking for colorway suggestions, if you don’t get the Lakers Heritage colorway, it wouldn’t feel right
so what happens is when it is pulled from the adhesive it rips because the top of the zoom unit is much weaker than the bottom

I’ve had the oreo color way for 2 weeks and absolutely love them best overall basketball sneaker out. I use mine only outdoors right now and they are holding up just fine I will probably cop another pair just for indoor that’s how much i enjoy them maybe even the same color way lol sorry to hear about your defect but it is definitely not common in the LeBron 16s I did a lot of research before purchasing and purchased after the shoe had already been out for about 8 months. This should not scare anyone from purchasing this sneaker
