Utopia of the Seas Accessible Room Tours - Balcony & Virtual Balcony Walkthrough - NEW Royal Cruise

Royal Caribbean's NEWEST Ship - the Utopia! The Utopia of the Seas: The World's Biggest Weekend is the world's second largest cruise ship behind the Icon of the Seas. It is the sixth ship in the Oasis Class and entered service on July 19, 2024 out of Port Canaveral, so we were on the 4th sailing in the Inaugural Season on this cruise ship!
This vlog shows full tours of two rooms: an interior stateroom on the 6th floor with a "virtual balcony" aka a virtual porthole that is a tv with live view of outside the ship (room 6149) and an accessible oceanside view balcony on the 14th floor (room 14170). We were fortunate enough to get upgraded, and we really enjoyed it!
I was joined by Pam, Evie, and Aiden on this amazing trip with stops at Nassau, Bahamas and Royal Caribbean's private island Perfect Day at Coco Cay!
If you are new to the channel, I have a rare muscle disease, so for extended adventures I use my mobility scooter.
The bathrooms both feature roll-in showers and two twin beds at accessible heights (that could be converted into one queen) and a pull-out sofa that converts into a queen bed. You can watch the vlog for the full tour and review, but both rooms entered into my Top Tier Territory for accessible rooms due to a single ranking: a powered door button. While using my scooter, this feature makes a world of difference and makes the room so much more accessible! This feature is one of many that has made cruising one of my preferred ways to travel with a disability and mobility scooter.

The channel name is a play on the words Danielle + elevates, because this channel is all about elevating ideas about disability and rare disease through humor and adventures! Vlogs feature my adventures and include accessibility reviews. There will also be funny clips of awkward and true moments in the lives of people with disabilities and rare diseases. Since birth, I have had an extremely rare (technically undiagnosed) neuromuscular disease. Depending on how strenuous the adventure is, sometimes I use a scooter and sometimes I don’t - I simply strive to make all content as genuine as possible and to be a positive advocate for the disability and rare disease community.
