I remember being sent the finished video after being asked what title worked best, and I come back a week later to see this almost crack a million views? You've earned in this one, dude! Here's to another however many thousand subs this brings in!
“Crap zombies are invading I need to leave the city!” “Oh welcome to egypt!” “Oh welcome to some wizard’s castle! Oh yeah btw ur inside the internet” “Oh Welcome to the Rubix cube matrix!”
It’s no wonder the focus shifted to some game dev stuff. The old devs that made the scary stuff left around 2017 due to a hostile takeover and internal corruption that made the game what it is now. The pixel gun devs made a blog post about it when battle royale came out, and here's what I gather now having gotten into game dev myself. The survival horror story that borrowed from other popular media and made it into an uncomfortable murder mystery was unique, and kind of cool feeling like it could go anywhere. The newer worlds with the cubic overlord aren’t really as fictitious as you'd think since the new team likely just didn’t have time to make a new story, so they just used the internal office problems as a Trojan horse to get around NDAs and rush a new world out, thus the levels consisting of mostly broken, disconnected, and recycled content. The parkour level stands out to me especially, since it was so busted and difficult that it was unplayable at launch. Strangely lacking much polish even compared to world 3. The virus was corporate violently changing the game’s identity and leaving it half busted and chipped like broken blocks. The virus is named after the game developer, Cubic. That always sounded wrong to me. The company name was originally RilliSoft, then it changed to Cubic Games, Pixel Gun Company, etc. multiple times without warning. The campaign and business stuff is adding up in similarity and it's seeming more like a warning and less coincidence. The old game is being likened to a "mistake" or a "bug" in the plot as it continues, and this very well looks like an in-universe way of telling people about how the horror story and survival aspects that made the game originally popular are being killed to focus on the silly multiplayer stuff they make bank on. The corporate virus is dirtying the truth to sell cyber santas. I think this makes the most sense, thus why the story cut to silly so abruptly and was barely updated. The game got very popular very quickly and it got the attention of investors who wanted to chase trends for cash instead expanding on the unique horror niche it found. It was blindsided by its hubris, and the 2017-2018 multiplayer mass bannings were the final nail in the coffin for most. Like Icarus, Pixel Gun flew too close to the sun and dropped dead after it had burned too many bridges, and like Newbie, the game itself has just been in this horrible state of purgatory waiting for someone to make it good again. Still, I like this concept for a story and see a lot of potential, so I'll be looking into it for my own game projects. Very fascinating.
@@swagbtwzx this shitass world is pure pain even in easy world the first levels are easy as fuck, now the citadel boss is way more painful than some motherfucker with an X module with the most op guns that 3catspams with every fucking weapon Haven't got to cubic yet, Remember...... *Yet*
I swear, getting the message that the boss had spawned, and having no idea where it was, had to have been one of the most nerve wracking experiences of my childhood.
First world campaign was scary as hell, because you was by yourself and atmosphere was just really cool. And game by itself was really good in old times. But damn. I want to see the rest of story. Even if this silly it is still interesting.
@@frogxbow9572Here's a trick: You can purchase the Jetpack tool, and fly over a really high tree and stand on there, slenderman won't be able to reach you, then just shoot him till he dies
The bridge level with all the zombies was always my favorite one to play with other people on the Pixel Gun firefight mode, or arena mode. The enemies, though many feel like they’re ripped straight from Minecraft, are all awesome and scary to fight against. It definitely was one of the best mobile games to come out.
The atmosphere that world 1 created was frightening. For example, the sunset sky made me uncomfortable in the city level. Not to mention the hospital, the forest and the school. Even the prison one, because it was claustrophobic as hell
This game has a special place in my heart because it’s where I met one of my oldest friends. She and I still talk to each other after almost a whole decade, and we wouldn’t have met if it weren’t for this silly little mobile game. I wish the devs respected it more…
As an OG player I can say this used to be an incredible game, it’s a pity they wasted the whole potential PG3D could offer. Anyways, it’ll always have a place in my heart. Edit: Wow I’ve never had this amount of likes, nice 😁
@@xx0d1n thing we’re going pretty well, but devs got greedy and many ppl quit the game cause it was getting Pay To Win, I was always Free To Play and got so far till 65lvl with great weapons, the ultimatum was the only thing I bought with real money in the game (it was worth ngl) but then they added fixed delay, heavy, special, melee spammable weapons and that bothered me a lot no matter if I had the max lvl, I was 3catspammer y to be honest is one of the best things that could ever happened to me, it was so fun, but the game got screwed and there was nobody left to fight against. And when I say nobody, I mean NOBODY, I got to the point that many lobbies were empty. Well, R.I.P. PG3D 😪
Fun fact: at some point in the game, the hell castle that you go to before fighting the dragon has a crucified person on the big cross it's absolutely terrifying although it has been taken down for the disturbing looks.
I’ve played 3.6 on pc numerous times and I can confirm that it looks messed up I really wish Pixel Gun still kept it. It gave the game a bit of quiet unsettling horror.
Started playing in august of 2013. It’s just so crazy seeing how many people coming to this video who have had pg3d play an important role in their childhood. For years, I’ve watched this game progress into this p2w atrocity but the early days was truly special
No idea when I started but I remember that jet pack mechs potions where floor loot. And I would farm arena for coins and bought everything at the time.
This quite literally was my whole entire childhood. Anyone born before 2010 would feel the nostalgia from this game. Mobiles games were just different back then.
Born in 2004, this game was everything for me. I played every minute I could. Back then, I didn't care about the cheaters, or rich white moms giving their kids thousands of dollars to spend on gems. I didn't care that it was pay-to-win. I just enjoyed it. But as I got more mature, the whole game got worse too. Micro-transactions got worse, balancing got worse, cheating was getting worse. So much shit being added, remove, changed. The game was all over the place. I haven't played it in a while but it's probably in a whole world bad management and greedy fucks at the top. I miss this game, I really do.
@@tobywankenobi3088 Myself being born in 2006, it was legendary. I think I stopped at around 2016 and started in 2011-12 or so, but the game was still gold during that time.
One thing that probably wont make a huge difference but ill mention anyway, on an old map many will know called 'temple of elements' there are 5 different gold mosaics depicting the 4 campaign worlds. It shows newbie fighting off the zombies, newbie taming the dragon, newbie defeating the bug and newbie killing cubic but the 5th one is mostly boarded up besides a small hole which shows an arm wearing the time machine gadget. This could symbolise newbies infinite loop in the game or his plan to get out but thats just a theory.
playing this game since it beginning, the park level will always be stuck in my memory for scaring the shit outa me. pretty sure every other level after that slenderman level was filled with extreme fear of another teryfiying boss
It’s unfortunate you never mentioned the various Easter eggs with the ghost girl leading up to the release of the 4th campaign. It’s probably why it’s still my favorite.
The newbie and a ghost girl identical to the one in the story mode can be seen in one of the multiplayer maps. It’s a cyberpunk looking one. Due to the fate of both the girl and newbie being unknown, people have speculated that the girl is dead and the newbie is still trapped in the cubic revolution game. However, this has yet to be confirmed to this day.
@@3ofSpades That futuristic cyberpunk map is called Parkour City 3019. If it’s 1000 years in the future and the campaign is assumed to take place during our present time, it would make sense that the girl is long dead after all that time. Pretty unsettling to think the Newbie has been trapped that long…
@@ManGuyPersonTTT The implication that she's been searching for him for 1000 years is very haunting. She can be seen with a Rubik's cube next to a crime scene, so it's safe to assume she found out about cubic, and died failing to find newbie due to Cubic killing her. Cubic took over and the old world has been erased, thus the sillier cyberpunk look of everything. Given the last campaign world released in 2019, it's pretty clear that this map is the last canonical part of the story telling us very clearly what happened. Everyone is dead and the bad guys won. Game over.
i’m honestly proud to say i’m an OG player and that so many people in my age group loved this game, I remember the game was pretty new when i found it. sad to hear it became all pay to win but it’ll always have a place in my heart
What if the dragon created the portals all around the universe in hopes of it attracting a worthy hero to help solve the cube crisis, but since the girl who showed up into the realm messes with the dragons then he immediately deemed the pixelated world as hostile and immediately retaliates by sending monsters. Only until newbie fights the dragon and can finally reveal his true intentions and so the dragon deems him worthy of being the hero they need to return the world to normal.
@@V3lk0n Back in the very old versions, the dragon was the ender dragon but I guess the game got copyrighted and they changed the entire thing to the parallel world. There were even Enderman skins and everything
@@northerneastern man your answer is very long, i aint reading allat Waluigi is the ultimate example of the individual shaped by the signifier. Waluigi is a man seen only in mirror images; lost in a hall of mirrors he is a reflection of a reflection of a reflection. You start with Mario - the wholesome all Italian plumbing superman, you reflect him to create Luigi - the same thing but slightly less. You invert Mario to create Wario - Mario turned septic and libertarian - then you reflect the inversion in the reflection: you create a being who can only exist in reference to others. Waluigi is the true nowhere man, without the other characters he reflects, inverts and parodies he has no reason to exist. Waluigi’s identity only comes from what and who he isn’t - without a wider frame of reference he is nothing. He is not his own man. In a world where our identities are shaped by our warped relationships to brands and commerce we are all Waluigi.
The first 2 worlds are the only ones that matter to me. Since the first had the overarching goal to find the cause of this invasion, (though how this was located in a school, and the reason why they dug in the schoolyard is beyond me.) the second world is a bit shaky but still holds up.

The main problem i always found with this game (I played it in 2013 being like 9) was the constant rebalancing of weapons to make it more p2w (to the point where even in the campaing you need p2w, in 2013 you could use only the base weapons (the ones they give you in the first few levels) and still have no trouble finishing the first world, and the fact that changing the device you were playing it on would mean you lost your account like 90% of the time Edit: I always loved how the game (in all aspects) was a massive franchise mash-up and it was full of references to both movies (the guy from the cemetery *has* to be a "the Shining" reference, both the possition and the maze are there and i think there was an axe close to him too, and how unique the loadouts were, the inclusion of old CS maps like the pool and such, this game was a blast
Tbh, the first couple levels with the zombie apocalypse always felt so disjointed from the rest. Even the stuff in world 1 after the prison felt like it clashed with the story a bit, but especially after he entered the portal, it went into a completely different direction than the one it started.
the first couple levels were basically a rip off of the walking dead. The farm (season 2), the cemetery (season 2), city (season 1), hospital (season 1), bridge (actually original and not from twd, instead taking inspiration from the golden gate bridge in san francisco however him chasing after a helicopter in the city is taken from season 1) and the prison (season 3 but actually also taking inspiration from Alcatraz prison in san fran so very creative) are all from twd. Taking inspiration from twd, a grounded zombie apoclypse gave the first half of world 1 a grounded in reality feel and combining it with iconic places in san fransisco (golden gate and alcatraz) made it original enough to stand on it's own. Going after area 51 and finding aliens there, meeting slenderman in a haunted forest and fighting pyramid head in a silent hill version of a haunted school and finding a portal there to another dimension completely jumps the shark and abandons the realism of the first half of world 1. World 2 is also just minecraft lol.
@@dannydevito4184 oh yeah, the similarity to The Walking Dead was what originally drew me towards the game. I was really big into Zombie stuff when i was 14-15.
Idk if I was there for this, or left already, because I remember those items, but I've never seen anybody using them all at once. Must have felt like a boss encounter
I have been playing this game for six years and I have over 800 weapons, and I have seen the community grow and die, I love this game so much and the fact that people still remember the campaign and share their experiences with it warms my heart, this video is amazing, keep it up
Nice video! I remember playing this game when I was in the 4th grade! You seriously have a lot of potential my friend! I wish you great amounts of happiness and success! 😃
Ah good times, being the #1 player in the world for a few weeks during 2015 was the time of my life. I sat there for months just waiting for new campaigns and I was hooked on it. Even to this day I'll launch the game just to play a new campaign. A decade in the making and I'm still here for the story! The old bosses and monsters shall never be forgotten.
I don't play anymore because I grown out of it about 7 years ago but I know how it felt to be on the top back in the days. I remember when the prototype first got released and I grinded so much kills with it on Mafia Mansion and Parkour City with some glitches I abused. This sort of "cheat" allowed me get to #4 and I was so excited even though it was only for a month. The campaigns also were truly fun to play but unfortunately I haven't caught up to the story on my account. It was fun playing it back then and I'm grateful that this video brought nostalgia to me and others who also reminisce the great story we all played through in PG3D (despite it's flaws).
@@kidney_theft in the school level there was a pyramid head boss. Idk if they are still there but there was also other monsters from silent hill like the nurse and lying figure or grey child

Same man. I would stay up up night with my brother and we would play through this entire day. I still remember the mech suits and the colosseum flower map. Sadly my kindle died right after the summer event that added that shark gun
@@KozelPraiseGOELRO the weapon level upgrade system was the worst thing to be ever implemented into the game. I don’t understand why they removed the feature where you only need to upgrade a weapon once or twice that comes with a slight power boost and a reskin
Before this game went downhill, back in the 2015-2020 times, it was one of the best mobile games out there. Played it so much and i got so many cool items like the solar ray rifle, that one purple railgun( i had the gold skin for that one ), etc. I remember the endless survival modes, like the fnaf one, the zombies and monster ones, i miss this games glory days.
I grinded so much for that purple rail gun only to never get a single kill with it because I sucked at the game. Also I tried grinding for the red mini gun but eventually my iPad just couldn’t handle the game anymore and started constantly crashing.
I personally always liked this messed storyline jumping from one point to another. It's something we don't see often in media overall, and it seems that devs made this storytelling style one of their unique points. It's strange, but that's why it stands out.
Man just read fanfiction. This type of storytelling can be found in spades. Reminds of the imaginary storyline’s we would come up with as kids which is why I like it tho.
I know you're getting hammered with similar comments, but the reason we don't see it in media very often is because it's not a very good method of storytelling.
This video gives me so much nostalgia! I was top on the leaderboard in one of the games! This game was so much fun so thanks for making this video about the lore. I appreciate it
I feel like the developer team has never hired a actual lead storywriter to give the gameplay at least some consistancy with the scary aspect of the story. But to me I felt like after chapter 2 the quality dwindled to this matrix nonsense.
@@fire4036eh In my opinion the game became pretty crappy after 2020, it's just something about the quality drop, it just started to feel more mechanical and less fun. They also nerfed flare jumping, which sucks. They deleted the bosses (some) many maps and gamemodes, and they deleted the best map amongst all (FNAF Clone)
I always loved the off-putting and eerie vibes from world one, especially the school map, in which there's skeletons inside little cages hanged to roof had made me wonder what happened to the poor students before they met their fate. Although, the disturbed nine years old me appreciated the tone shift in the story.
The school was definitely the scariest map for little me. All that's going through my mind back then was just pure WTF, at how a school could possible look this hellish. It felt like the protagonist was in hell and the school was just built there. The upside down classroom and massive room with the dangling chains and bottomless pit stood out to me.
Finally someone who talks about the atmosphere in the first campaign of pixel gun. The music (while not original as in they took it) is very atmospheric. Every level his haunting and always keeps you on the edge and for a block game they did a great job. Also I miss how Pyramid head was the final boss and not some silly spider jocky
My theory is that they removed Pyramid Head is maybe due to risk of copyright infringement? I mean, I remember the Dragon Realm being purple instead of red (Change probably to avoid it looking too much like The End in Minecraft) and Pixel Man used to wear green instead of red (And this is probably to avoid him being compare to Steve).
@@mettawatkutaninwat5411 oh my god I remembered that lol. But yeah it does makes sense why they had to get rid of pyramid head and change most of the mobs. But I really dislike the spider jokey they could’ve done something better

Yea exactly. Those knifes that dash forward and kill you immediately. That one weapon that is one shot. It's just not fair. I'm honestly considering modding the game and maxing everything out so I can play a couple levels below them
I watched the whole video with a tear in my eyes. I remember all the old bosses, I remember the real difficulty, I remember the fun times! This nostalgia made me sick of Minecraft, Terraria, and undertale, these soundtracks are just something! Lord take me back in time...
Doom lore for kids In all seriousness, i remember playing this game being the first time I tried fps games. I think its the reason I like competition. Thanks for explaining the lore that 7 year old me will never comprehend!
I remember from 2013-2014 being max rank and having all the weapons and skins before I lost my tablet and couldn’t recover my account. I also spent a lot of time customizing the skins and capes which was surprisingly fun but I had the most fun playing Deadly Games and Capture the Flag. I recently came back to it because of nostalgia. Although nothing beats the Pixel Gun I grew up with, there’s still some fun to be had with this game
Most of us came back to this game because of nostalgia. However, at the moment Pixel Gun is pure disappointment for me. A lot has changed in this game, mostly for the bad. I played Pixel Gun from 2015 to the end of 2017 and gosh it was a lot of fun, even my siblings played with me. Unfortunetly when i came back to this game it wasn't the same old Pixel Gun I knew :/
Yeah I remember being fully maxed out on the game around 2013 and actually managing to be on a leader board. I then quit the game because my sister bought a weapon I didn't want with my gems (post helmet and hammer removal) and was so destroyed by losing all of my gems, I just stopped playing
This game was one of my favorite growing up with crappy tablet games. I remembered how cool it was to see the Minecraft ender dragon as the “final boss” and being so excited waiting for more chapters to pixel gun. This game needs more recognition
@@HuTaoWeedSmoker Expanding on Akid Productions analogy of mopping yourself into a corner, it’s that the writers wrote themselves into a corner that by doing anything would destroy some of the plot (much like how stepping on something you just cleaned and has not yet dried will ruin it). The writers were putting themselves in difficult situations to continue the story and thus it did not work as great as a plot.
I remember downloading this game and playing it for days on end It used to be a simple arena with endless waves. It was cool seeing new maps get added, monsters change in shape and form. Seeing it reach its peak then its down fall the changing of the backgrounds of the menus all of it. I witnessed everything
Was absolutely astounded by the PvP potential this game offered. Lots of customization, too, to an extent that player loadouts could all be so unique and still rather valid against one another.
The campaign was my favorite part of PG3D and still is. I remember first seeing pyramid head in the school level and instantly dying with my golden hammer and alien gun... let me tell you, when world 4 came out, it was all the hype... I also remember getting the heavy weapon from world 3 and I was so excited to use it in multiplayer games. It wasnt that good, but still a cool heavy. Also, the last level in world was the coolest with a great cliffhanger. Its sad on what happened to the multiplayer itself, as it is mainly pay to win nowdays and every time I join a game, I am killed instantly from a sweaty player or an OP purchased weapon. I miss the old PG3D...
Especially world 3's last level music, cause that shit goes hard! Despite it being a more repetitive semi-bruchering edited version of an already existing song, I still liked it regardless and it's still very nostalgic to me.
No one will understand how unique the game was back then… 2017, being the earliest that I can remember playing the game, was one of the few years where nothing mattered before COVID hit. I miss those times
I completely the whole story with 3 star completion, the most annoying part was avoiding being hit by a newly spawned enemy from out of nowhere. Took me so long i kind of forgot what had come before in the story
The story's main problem is that it jumps from plot premise to plot premise with no room to breath. Each of these ideas has mass amounts of potential, but since a new basis for the story is made every world, we never get to see the potential of any of them. I may not have liked the story, but I absolutely loved this game, especially the community. Just fighting against other players and hanging out in parties was one of the best feelings of my childhood.
Sandbox was one of the best game modes for someone who wasn't a Navy Seal tactician. I loved all the mini games, staying up late at night to get the highest score in arena, and I made some beloved friends in the two sandbox worlds where I could just chat with people and show off skins. It was a shame the game overall turned into a strictly P2W battle royal orientated game. My account remains abandoned, max level and over 600+ weapons (including the cosmetic ones) with so many dead friend accounts. What a blast I had when I was younger.
The game really isn't that p2w now tbh. There's a lot of weapons that are broken you can get for free with a bit of grind. They did sellout a little bit though but not as bad as other games. This game will forever be in my heart though.
@easiazyy The main issue I had with their p2w system was that every new weapon was significantly stronger than the older ones. And because the grind for these new weapons was atrocious (I mean, 250 parts when a chest only gives 3 at a time? Seriously?), the best way to get the new weapon while it was still good was to buy it. I didn't get a lot of the cosmetic weapons till months after they released, and I simply hated that PG3D focused on new cosmetic weapons instead of the story, new maps, gamemodes, etc etc. I mean, sandbox had only TWO maps for years (snow party and love island).
@@brunoseabra8089 know the reason why the saves got deleted, there was an exploit which you can do by saving your account in google play and doing the campaign and gaining the rewards then reseting the campaign by deleting and reinstalling the game and while your save from google play slowly loads you play the campaign again to gain all the rewards again with the consequence being that whatever currency you had would be deleted But if you're ftp then its essentially a infinite money glitch and if you want better guns(at that time) you just spin the chest
I remember the prototype was the best gun to get. Now there’s guns like the one shot (and even that was years ago it seems) I can’t imagine what they have now
I’ve played it more recently. I think they have an absolutely impressive assortment of weapons now, but you have to pay money for almost all of them unless you want to grind for months.
@@1800notascam see that’s my main issue with the “one shot” guns. You can grind for weeks and the best weapon you’ll get is an antiquated combat rifle that was good maybe a decade ago, but you have to spend money to even have a chance
There was that one gun that literally had aim bot and it killed pretty fast and another one that u could manually which literally encouraged people to sit a corner and shoot for easy kills
I played this game for years and loved it, it will hold a place in my childhood. It's a shame that the devs now treat it as a money grinder by placing ads and offers everywhere
The atmosphere of some of the pg3d maps back in the day was actually mind bendingly crazy good. The soundtrack, map layout, enemies. ALL of it. It's incredibly sad to see the direction that the game has taken over the past 5 or so years. I have stopped playing pg3d so that I can keep the memories of how incredibly good the game once was. Holy hell this video sent me back. I used to play the hell out of this game on a specific summer vacation, I grinded to hell and back and couldn't get enough. I remember spending like 2 hours in a single day making custom skins. This may very well be the first time I felt actual, genuine, real nostalgia. Thank you.
I remember back when the hole where the zombie dug at the farm, you could get zombified from that. That got me wondering: “How could you get zombified from a couple inches hole?” Well I finally found the answer: P i x e l G u n L o g i c Also, true veterans would know the very old pixel gun weapon did a quick reload before spinning it around, simple shotgun just magically reload its whole mags by throwing it in the air, and the machine gun doing the Battlefield Easter egg. Now multiplayer wise… Spinning around 360 too fast when you respawn, zero bullet spread… and of course, who wouldn’t forget the magic bow and diamond crossbow being the most annoying weapons in the game? Infinite ammo + the ability to shoot through walls… P.S Boss Battle still not released yet…
Oh yeah i remember arrows going through walls, but thinking back i can't understand how players could hit others with those arrows, were the people's names visible through walls as well?
Player names were visible around that time, but it was mostly due to a bug making the projectiles shot through walls having a ridiculous hitbox for some reasons.
I remember being pretty young like 8 or 7 and playing the story mode constantly. This video brings so much nostalgia and I just wanted to say thank you for bringing back my childhood.
I remember the shotgun you would get after beating the dragon and how overpowered it was. I wonder if its still busted as it was when there was only worlds 1-2.
I still remember around 2013 or 2014. There is an arena mode where it is OP to use this one gun i dont remember the name but it has a really good splash damage and you can easily beat each round and the coin reward will increase. I gained a lot of coins just from playing arena for a long period of time.
Used to play this game religiously when I was younger until all the updates just kept piling new garbage into the game when it was already perfect. I don’t know how it is now since I quit after they added these little things that you had to put onto your weapons, and without them it was basically useless even if it was mythical. Cheers for the memories of old pixel gun tho… The last levels in campaign were also too scary for me to play when I was little because of the creepy looking monsters in it lol
There was a time where I absolutely lived for this game when I was younger. I remember grinding for hours to unlock some of the best guns in order to avoid paying to win in multiplayer and not being paraliyzed by fear from those faceless demons.
If world 5 needs you to complete all the virtual world levels 3 stars im fucked cause the clone level is stupidly hard like i cant beat it back then it was easy because your armor did not count as taking damage but now it does
I only remember the ice and hell levels for some reason, but yeah, I just don't remember the dragon's dialogue there. I don't remember what it was before either, but I'm also pretty positive that wasn't the original.
I just turned 20 the 9 marsh When i was a kid i was terrified of the forest and silent school I mean, you got to admit that the pink little girl in the school is kind of creepy If you didnt already know, the game just release on steam I love the arena minigame, this night i went to 500k point but i stop because i was bored, i was like round 30 something Just run around in circle and dont get trapped and you can basically play forever until you get either bored or tired
This was an amazing childhood game to play and it will remain like that imo. Unfortunately the recent updates _kinda_ ruined the entirety of it to the point it's not worth coming back to.
I remember passing my time making custom skins at my grandma's house only to be all lost after an update. I was so upset and ended up uninstalling it after losing 20+ skins i made pixel per pixel. But this gave me heavy nostalgia :')
I was a huge fan of Pixel Gun 3D back in 2014-2016. That was the golden age to me. My friends Cody and Nolan would play with me and we would have so much fun. The Hellraiser was always my favorite gun because of the cool Halloween colors. Inside The Code was my favorite map because the theme for it was so damn good. “Oh welcome to egypt!”
“Oh welcome to some wizard’s castle! Oh yeah btw ur inside the internet”
“Oh Welcome to the Rubix cube matrix!”

Wait what??
The newbie and a ghost girl identical to the one in the story mode can be seen in one of the multiplayer maps. It’s a cyberpunk looking one. Due to the fate of both the girl and newbie being unknown, people have speculated that the girl is dead and the newbie is still trapped in the cubic revolution game. However, this has yet to be confirmed to this day.
Can you explain about the Ghost Girl?
@@3ofSpades That futuristic cyberpunk map is called Parkour City 3019. If it’s 1000 years in the future and the campaign is assumed to take place during our present time, it would make sense that the girl is long dead after all that time.

It’s funny how you can easily be able to recognize that the writers wrote themselves into a corner at the last level to every world lol
Wym
@@HuTaoWeedSmokerit's like how sometimes you mop yourself into a corner
@@HuTaoWeedSmoker Expanding on Akid Productions analogy of mopping yourself into a corner, it’s that the writers wrote themselves into a corner that by doing anything would destroy some of the plot (much like how stepping on something you just cleaned and has not yet dried will ruin it). The writers were putting themselves in difficult situations to continue the story and thus it did not work as great as a plot.
I remember downloading this game and playing it for days on end
It used to be a simple arena with endless waves.
1:37 When i saw this dead person when i was little, i thought that was...
SuPeR mArIo TiMe!!!
Saaaame
As much as I miss the old bosses, I gotta give props to the creators for upgrading them to something big and terrifying
Sometimes i would just spend hours playing the camapign trying new challenges, or just chilling listening to the music it was so nostalgic
Same
I miss the old skins
I miss being scared of being in the campaign maps
@@Amogusrath no joke me too
Especially world 3's last level music, cause that shit goes hard!
I haven't played this game in a while man, this was a gem stored in my head till I was like 7 or something
He hearted 0-0
Haven’t played since 2019
I completely the whole story with 3 star completion, the most annoying part was avoiding being hit by a newly spawned enemy from out of nowhere.
I love that when he went to 2 world, the terraria song played
@@fxdefiancy sadly, if you didnt join before a certain date, than your saves simply got deleted
@@brunoseabra8089 know the reason why the saves got deleted, there was an exploit which you can do by saving your account in google play and doing the campaign and gaining the rewards then reseting the campaign by deleting and reinstalling the game and while your save from google play slowly loads you play the campaign again to gain all the rewards again with the consequence being that whatever currency you had would be deleted
But if you're ftp then its essentially a infinite money glitch and if you want better guns(at that time) you just spin the chest
@@brunoseabra8089 Eh, I don't mind too much. I don't play the game, like, ever. So it's not a huge detriment.
I remember the prototype was the best gun to get. Now there’s guns like the one shot (and even that was years ago it seems) I can’t imagine what they have now
God I remember that time, hated the fact it could go through walls and it always seemed that everyone had one.
Agreed
I’ve played it more recently. I think they have an absolutely impressive assortment of weapons now, but you have to pay money for almost all of them unless you want to grind for months.
@@1800notascam see that’s my main issue with the “one shot” guns. You can grind for weeks and the best weapon you’ll get is an antiquated combat rifle that was good maybe a decade ago, but you have to spend money to even have a chance
There was that one gun that literally had aim bot and it killed pretty fast and another one that u could manually which literally encouraged people to sit a corner and shoot for easy kills
The nostalgia is IMMENSE
The selection of music throughout the video was amazing by the way.
I played this game for years and loved it, it will hold a place in my childhood. It's a shame that the devs now treat it as a money grinder by placing ads and offers everywhere
Best game in it's prime. Rest In Peace OG PG3D.
R.I.P Pixel Gun 3D. Fck the new devs who ruined the game.
I really liked the game but try hard and pay 2 wins, and pop up ads trying to make money took over the game
THERES WORLD 4 NOW?! bruh only finished up to world 3 before I left. This is nostalgic as hell, slender park level scary af to the point I NEVER perfected the stars while other levels I did lmao
I absolutely LOVED this game as a kid! The PvZ, Terraria, and Undertale music in this video also is really nostalgic
Seeing the story again actually brings back a lot of nostalgia to me as I used to play this game a lot quite a few years back!
Holy hell this video sent me back. I used to play the hell out of this game on a specific summer vacation, I grinded to hell and back and couldn't get enough. I remember spending like 2 hours in a single day making custom skins.
This may very well be the first time I felt actual, genuine, real nostalgia. Thank you.
Nothing hits nostalgia lane more than World 1 and 2. Omg. This game was everything to me as a kid. Old School PG3D is unmatched
I remember back when the hole where the zombie dug at the farm, you could get zombified from that. That got me wondering: “How could you get zombified from a couple inches hole?”
Well I finally found the answer:
P i x e l G u n L o g i c
Also, true veterans would know the very old pixel gun weapon did a quick reload before spinning it around, simple shotgun just magically reload its whole mags by throwing it in the air, and the machine gun doing the Battlefield Easter egg.
Now multiplayer wise…
Spinning around 360 too fast when you respawn, zero bullet spread… and of course, who wouldn’t forget the magic bow and diamond crossbow being the most annoying weapons in the game? Infinite ammo + the ability to shoot through walls…
P.S Boss Battle still not released yet…
Oh yeah i remember arrows going through walls, but thinking back i can't understand how players could hit others with those arrows, were the people's names visible through walls as well?
Player names were visible around that time, but it was mostly due to a bug making the projectiles shot through walls having a ridiculous hitbox for some reasons.
I remember being pretty young like 8 or 7 and playing the story mode constantly. This video brings so much nostalgia and I just wanted to say thank you for bringing back my childhood.
I remember the shotgun you would get after beating the dragon and how overpowered it was. I wonder if its still busted as it was when there was only worlds 1-2.
when i got the shotgun i was so happy but it was so bad in pvp lol
The storyline went from all right to just making no sense, but this video was nostalgic asf 😱🔥
You unlocked some hidden memories of mine lol I used to play pixelgun3D before TF2 as well and I made so many custom skins lost to time haha
I still remember around 2013 or 2014. There is an arena mode where it is OP to use this one gun i dont remember the name but it has a really good splash damage and you can easily beat each round and the coin reward will increase. I gained a lot of coins just from playing arena for a long period of time.
Is it a heavy or a back up tell me plz
I don't think it was splash damage but I remember using the "Crystal Laser Cannon" and grinding the arena mode and getting a ton of coins
Definitely the anti gravity blaster I use to go crazy with that gun back in 2014
I still return to this game every so often. It’s a far cry from what it used to be, but it’s not boring.
Yeah, it's still fun but it could never be the same.
The school absolutely scared me as a kid
Used to play this game religiously when I was younger until all the updates just kept piling new garbage into the game when it was already perfect. I don’t know how it is now since I quit after they added these little things that you had to put onto your weapons, and without them it was basically useless even if it was mythical. Cheers for the memories of old pixel gun tho… The last levels in campaign were also too scary for me to play when I was little because of the creepy looking monsters in it lol
Really insane how it went from a simple zombie blockbuster movie into a straight up matrix movie plot.
There was a time where I absolutely lived for this game when I was younger. I remember grinding for hours to unlock some of the best guns in order to avoid paying to win in multiplayer and not being paraliyzed by fear from those faceless demons.
I haven't got back to this game for so long. Damn, this video really made my memories flood back. Thanks.
If world 5 needs you to complete all the virtual world levels 3 stars im fucked cause the clone level is stupidly hard like i cant beat it back then it was easy because your armor did not count as taking damage but now it does
Yeah that was a stupid change
I can't beat the platforming stage this game was not meant for platforming.
@thedodgeviperacr5935 it took many tries for me, by tries I mean 200+ times.
Lots of raging and just patience u can do it
12:58 is that a hardcore henry reference? The rooftop and fighting with clones.
I actually remember the part at 6:21 being completely different, they changed the story some updates ago (Possibly when world 3 was added)
What did they change?
I only remember the ice and hell levels for some reason, but yeah, I just don't remember the dragon's dialogue there. I don't remember what it was before either, but I'm also pretty positive that wasn't the original.
@@thefly6537i agree i think they changed the story a lot
Yeah, i also remember different pictures being there, sad that i didn't know english language at that time
I just turned 20 the 9 marsh
When i was a kid i was terrified of the forest and silent school
I mean, you got to admit that the pink little girl in the school is kind of creepy
If you didnt already know, the game just release on steam
I love the arena minigame, this night i went to 500k point but i stop because i was bored, i was like round 30 something
Just run around in circle and dont get trapped and you can basically play forever until you get either bored or tired
The original theme for the game was also a banger. The whole soundtrack was a banger. I miss those days...
thank you for the random terraria music and actual story to Minecraft CoD
3:45 “old bosses”, bro they got removed? I remember those so vividly. I feel really old…
real i remember all of and deafeted al those bosses he showed
12:53 minecraft storymode season 2 in a nutshell is just world 4 of pixel gun 3d
Real ones remember "The Prototype" having been the meta for a long time
got me rage quitting every time i see purple lazers all over the map until i got one myself
I remember that one map where everyone used it
@@sophia313 Fr 😭😭
Nah that was the Anti Hero rifle
Its still meta
It was one of my favorite childhood games throughout my 2010s childhood, but I’m still playing like I started like yesterday, this lore is cool but sick
