I was a loyal player from 2014-2019. I had the special weapons like the big buddy all maxxed out. I quit during the second pixel pass after finishing the first, and was recently thinking of coming back. I realized they had monetized being able to get those special limited weapons, which was the nail in the coffin for me to not go back.
I remember Pixel Gun 3D actually having a dedicated fan base. Now they barely have people that enjoy the game besides the players that are playing for the nostalgia aspect

@@mr_ggyt2409 it used to be that back then, grinding was actually fun because you had so many ways of getting good guns while not spending a single cent, Lotteries used to give you full legendary and epic grade guns in the Novice and Fighter Chests, and Fighter Chests gave you 50 parts instead of the 15 parts they give you now, the Traders Van also used to have guns that costed coins, which at low levels those vans made getting weapons way easier, not to mention the weapons in the Armory were at the worst, decent, now the Armory is empty and most of the guns can’t compete with the new meta guns Oh also the Gallery which got nerfed when a ton of cheap guns you can buy to get coupons got removed from the armory The grind now is horrid as it’s clear the devs rather focus on grinding in the Free to Play events that occur every season over making your primary form of grinding easier
That and the fact that low levels used to fill every lobby and there was never really an issue of high level or pay to win players dominating every lobby, till now, it’s the developer’s sad attempt at trying to generate more money by making you think by spending money in game it’ll make you a better player instantly
By making grinding much harder and slower the devs just incentived new players to buy modded accounts, which means people who actually grinded for their stuff are now behind these player with literally everything, I have a good chunk of everything but my modules aren’t the best, while modded players have literally every advantage over me The grind really needs to loosen up and instead focus on a “collect every gun” mentality rather than “buy the best guns” mindset that most people have in pg3d nowadays

Cheesebale and dog play bootleg Minecraft with guns. The older versions where they basically had a lot less weapons and it was more of an arena game were better. After they added gems, they kept adding more and more stuff and it ruined the whole game. Nowadays it’s basically just a mix of unfunny 2010s memes and 2020s memes and none of it fits together at all. The game was a lot better when it was just trying to be scary with the story mode that had slenderman and the spooky online maps where you could go out of bounds and explore.

Yeah I’ve been saying this game fell off even during 2020. I used the play during 2014-2016 with some friend’s from school and it was a blast. Had the Minecraft graphics to bring me in and then had the gameplay similar to call of duty before a mobile version came out, it also had that zombies campaign that I was very invested in too, also cant forget about the free daily spin box that could get you new weapons for free and it was actually winnable unlike crate and spin systems nowadays in games that make the good items and gear only obtainable at a 1% or even sometimes lower chance. Only off putting thing about the game was it was clear you can just pay to win but I thought if I just saved enough as a free to play then I can catch up with those people which was kinda true at the time. Coming back in 2018 and 2019 I made a new account and was smart to save my in game money on the over powered weapons and I was dominating matches mostly uncontested which kinda got old so I took a little break. When 2020 and the covid scare happened I ended up getting back into the game seeing I didn’t have much to do but I regretted it. I know the game was gonna become more and more p2w as it aged but I wasn’t prepared for every new weapon to be able to 1 to 2 shot someone and I also didn’t expect this augmentation system to be added which can only really be earned if you did clan activities which was hard that way because all the good groups were full so I had to join a lesser one and of course a majority of its members never did anything so I was on my own. But of course you could just pay money to also get these upgrades that directly impacted your stats and there was also the new weapons upgrade system too that was made as another way to squeeze money out of players. I played for about a month and dealt with this madness before I realized call of duty mobile was just the way to go now. Though that game also fell off for me because it had so many bots and the real players I did know couldn’t comprehend using the scope or iron sights instead of hipfiring so the competition was limited to ranked.

Cheesebale and dog play bootleg Minecraft with guns. The older versions where they basically had a lot less weapons and it was more of an arena game were better. After they added gems, they kept adding more and more stuff and it ruined the whole game. Nowadays it’s basically just a mix of unfunny 2010s memes and 2020s memes and none of it fits together at all. The game was a lot better when it was just trying to be scary with the story mode that had slenderman and the spooky online maps where you could go out of bounds and explore.

Yeah I’ve been saying this game fell off even during 2020. I used the play during 2014-2016 with some friend’s from school and it was a blast. Had the Minecraft graphics to bring me in and then had the gameplay similar to call of duty before a mobile version came out, it also had that zombies campaign that I was very invested in too, also cant forget about the free daily spin box that could get you new weapons for free and it was actually winnable unlike crate and spin systems nowadays in games that make the good items and gear only obtainable at a 1% or even sometimes lower chance. Only off putting thing about the game was it was clear you can just pay to win but I thought if I just saved enough as a free to play then I can catch up with those people which was kinda true at the time. Coming back in 2018 and 2019 I made a new account and was smart to save my in game money on the over powered weapons and I was dominating matches mostly uncontested which kinda got old so I took a little break. When 2020 and the covid scare happened I ended up getting back into the game seeing I didn’t have much to do but I regretted it. I know the game was gonna become more and more p2w as it aged but I wasn’t prepared for every new weapon to be able to 1 to 2 shot someone and I also didn’t expect this augmentation system to be added which can only really be earned if you did clan activities which was hard that way because all the good groups were full so I had to join a lesser one and of course a majority of its members never did anything so I was on my own. But of course you could just pay money to also get these upgrades that directly impacted your stats and there was also the new weapons upgrade system too that was made as another way to squeeze money out of players.
I played for about a month and dealt with this madness before I realized call of duty mobile was just the way to go now.
Though that game also fell off for me because it had so many bots and the real players I did know couldn’t comprehend using the scope or iron sights instead of hipfiring so the competition was limited to ranked.
Only main issue with pc is the progress at the beginning way more difficult than mobile
Finally mobile gets some love
Even if pixel gun is my childhood game, I’m kinda surprised how the game is still up, even if they are really going downhill.
