I have two pairs of the rebel v3, the super comp trainer v2, sc elite 3, 1080v12, and more v4. I find myself gravitating to the rebel v3 the most. The soft squishy ride with a moderate but natural rebound is so fun.
Did you size up comparing to the rebel v2? I'd like to buy the V3 but i do not know if i have to go with the same size or size up. Thanks for your answer.
Good afternoon Run4Adventure and all the runners. Interesting review about the great Nb F. Rebel v3. This shoe is very fast for me. Here is my like. A nice day for everyone.
Great running on the Penrose 10K today!!! Glad to hear NB didn`t change those Rebels. They too fit like a glove on my feet and I was very glad to get another discounted pair (65€) this summer. I had no problems with sizing or build quality. In fact, now after 780k the upper is still fine and the wear on the outsole is ok.
Hi Loyd, any chance for review the Patagonia trail line. There are lot of great clothing brand out there, but Patagonia has a different approach and I really like the way they do it.
Fuelcell TC is one of my all time favourites and although not plated, I think this latest Rebel is the closest they do to it now. The SC trainer that replaced the TC unfortunately has little in common with it. Might have to put the Rebel in my rotation. Thanks for the review!
Never run in a NB shoe, always used there shoes for fashion. Might try a pair soon. I feel you rain pain, it's rained in every video I have made lately 😒
Does filming some action shots really matter? Most peeps just want to know your review and opinions on the products. Your opinions are genuine atm. Keep up the good work.
I really appreciate the fact that you value my opinions but if I just sat in front on the videos and talked for 15mins the video would be so boring! I think all the other shots keep the videos a lot more interesting and enjoyable to watch, hopefully 😊 Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment it's appreciated 🙏
i think it's better to film the b-roll and then narrate it. that way it's easy to understand. there's another running youtuber named tim grose and his topics/reviews are interesting but very hard to understand when he's talking while running especially when i listen to these reviews while running
Yep it does matter. We absolutely love em! All my mates love em! Donald Trump & Robert DeNero Love em. The whole cast of Coronation street love em. Especially Tyrone Shoelaces! Get a grip Lad 😂
Still looking for a decent replacement for my much loved Rincon 2s for a daily lightweight. Looks like these or some V2s on sale might be a good option?
How is the grip compared to the V2? Much better? I find the V2 rather 'slippery when wet'. And, what is your kilometer count on the V2? I have clocked 512k so far.
I had the v2 but found them just far too soft and couldn't do anything over 5 miles in them, mine ended up getting sold so think I'll be giving these a miss
ASICS Noosa tri 14 is Triathon version of Evoride 3. The two shoes share the midsole/outsole but Noosa 14 has an upper more geared to triathlon use vs Evoride 3 having more traditional upper. The midsole is ASICS standard FF foam. So, it will be a firmer midsole. The rocker geometry of the shoe compensates that firmness to a degree. It is a simple shoe that can be used for faster shortish workouts. It can be a good track shoe for speed workouts or a treadmill shoe as well.
Even though Freedom 4 has PWRRUN PB just like Endorphin Speed/Pro, that version of PWRRUN PB is said to be much firmer vs Speed/Pro. The FuelCell foam in Rebel is a softer foam than Freedom 4.
I've watched this video 4 times now as I've been planning to get me a pair of Rebel V3 into my rotation. How did they handle in wet conditions and what about durability? Additionally what's your socks?
Hope you enjoyed the video Kou. It handled wet conditions no problem, it was super wet on that first run and I had no problems. As far as durability goes, it's hard to say because I've only got 20 miles in the shoe at the moment 👍 Hope this helps and thanks for watching the channel 🙏
Not really Jay, most road running shoes will be fine on a treadmill. Obviously a treadmill is slightly sprung, so less impact than on the tarmac. Hope this helps and thanks for watching the channel 🙏😊
I thought since I got wide I wouldn’t have run into the lateral side upper ripping from the v2. So many other ppl reporting this. Unfortunately about 150 miles in and rip. Both shoes. 😡 I loved the v2. But this is poor build quality and design. Hoping v3 upper different
It sounds like your foot shape is to wide for the shoe Jung? Did you go up in size because they definitely size up small. I'm not sure its the build quality, I've had no issues but I don't have a wide foot. If your footshape is to wide for a narrow fitting shoe it's always going to cause durability issues 👍
It just shows that running shoe choice is very personal. The V2's were a super popular running shoe, it clearly didn't work for you but that doesn't mean it's horrible? Just not right for you 👍 Thanks for watching 🙏
I don't have any durability issues with my V2's and they are still going strong now? There's actually a comment from a viewer on this video that's run nearly 800km in their V2's and they're still running in them 😊 The upper on the V3's is actually very similar to the V2's 👍

Is the rebel v3 good for some shuttle run, zigzag training, and up tempo run?
@@boratkd what did you choose? I'm going to size up

The rebel v2 are the absolute best and I could not feel any good replacement to it….it’s a real bummer
Great review and awesome action shots. I’ve put about 30 miles on my Rebel V3’s and love them.
Hi Loyd, any chance for review the Patagonia trail line. There are lot of great clothing brand out there, but Patagonia has a different approach and I really like the way they do it.
I find they are a bit longer that the v2. My toes bang up on the front on v2 but have space on the v3. Uk 8.5
Loved the V2, just hate this colour if they release different colours in UK will def buy

is SC V3 closer to the TC than Rebel?
Hullo! Any thoughts about rebel's sister - the Propel v4? On sale now
This feels like a slightly lower stack Nike Invincible? Which sounds very interesting after the bad reviews of the Invincible V3.
Never run in a NB shoe, always used there shoes for fashion. Might try a pair soon. I feel you rain pain, it's rained in every video I have made lately 😒

Great review. Did the light colored upper clean up well after your run? Planning to get the same colorway unless it’s stains easily. Thanks.

Loved the v2 but it bottomed out after around 7km for me. I have bought the v3 as has a little more foam so will see soon when I take them out.
How is it working out so far?
Yo, what does bottomed out meaning in running shoe vocab? Thankss
Hi Loyd. As always a godd review.
Just a simple question: at the same price... Rebel V2 or Rebel V3? Straight answer. 🤪
I'd go for the V2's if I had to choose 👍
@@Run4Adventure Great. 👍. Appreciated. Clear, direct, honest. All the best.

Don’t buy V2. Buy Kinvara 12 or 13.
Might have to be one on the rotation. 🤔🤔🤔
Any comparison to the Asics Glideride V3? In softeness or any similarities?

That jacket is meant to be to that shoe when in comes to aesthetic lol
That outsole looks slippery? Can you run in the rain in those and not end up injured?

Agree 👍🏻
Any fit issues? V2 I had in a 10, my normal size but were very short. Blackened my toe nails. Other than that I loved them
Ah. Just got to that part of the video. Half size up it is!
I always size up in NB, their shoes have always sized up small Rob 👍
Agree they were short. Not going to buy from a company that can’t get true sizing correct year after year.
Just curious if you have heard of the Asics Noosa tri 14's. Top rated running shoe on amazon
ASICS Noosa tri 14 is Triathon version of Evoride 3. The two shoes share the midsole/outsole but Noosa 14 has an upper more geared to triathlon use vs Evoride 3 having more traditional upper. Looks comfortable. Reminds me of the saucony freedom 4 that I'm running in currently.
Even though Freedom 4 has PWRRUN PB just like Endorphin Speed/Pro, that version of PWRRUN PB is said to be much firmer vs Speed/Pro. The FuelCell foam in Rebel is a softer foam than Freedom 4.
Is this suitable for walking as well?
What type of walking? Just standard daily use or hiking?

this or Mach 5?
I haven't run in the Mach 5 so it's hard to say Wasif? 🤔
V2 upper tore after 60 miles. Also too short and squishy. They were horrible!
That was a common issue with v2. This design of upper looks more conventional. They probably fixed the upper in v3.
