- This one has been requested ALOT, so here is my guide to getting the best #F123 cockpit camera settings for you, including a breakdown of the exact settings I use and why.
LINKS AREN'T YET WORKING FOR ME AS A NEW CHANNEL! FOR NOW PLEASE GOOGLE 'F1 23 FOV CALCULATOR'. I'LL UPDATE ASAP. - Ігри
I wish you could turn off the on screen wheel. I have my monitor right behind my wheel, so it's literally seeing double.
I dont even have my wheel right in front like you said but i also wish i could remove the wheel for more visibility
Have you tried turning off the wheel animation? At least that way it won't block your vision when you're turning.
U can turn off the animation
I used to have my FOV a lot further out as I wanted to see my side mirror a bit but just didn’t end up using them as I used the rear mirror. The much tighter FOV, similar to yours felt so much better to drive with and I felt I could corner alot more smoothly and consistently. A video suggestion could be how to ween yourself off the racing line assist/ how to learn a track breaking turning points etc efficiently. Thanks for the video once again
The video I’ve been asking for!!! Great stuff Ben!
Thanks Jasper! And welcome to the new channel!!

Spot on video! 🎉
Thanks Damian mate! And appreciate the support on the new channel!
Some solid suggestions here, I am constantly tweaking these settings. I have a TrackIR setup that helps me still have access to my mirrors while still in the cockpit cam-- it's great for the immersion.
Oh nice! I’ve been looking at head tracking options recently. Is it a bit weird at first??
@@LaBrocaF1 Not really, at least in my case. My brain sort of filtered out any of the movements my head was making and I found myself fairly intuitively looking at the mirrors after a few hours. I had my sensitivity set pretty high so I didnt really need to turn my head much-- it's fully customizable though, so it's possible to tune it to your liking.
It's certainly not perfect, and I dont use it all the time, but it does make for an immersive feeling, especially with the hud turned off.
@@MesaFalcon nice yeah - I’m keen to experiment with it at some point. If it’s subtle I can imagine it really adding to the videos too.
@@LaBrocaF1you should get yourself the trackIR pro. Been using it for over 6 months now and it's absolutely amazing. It makes racing feel more realistic and is really easy to get used to. It was weird for the first couple of minutes but after 1 or 2 hours it felt natural and made the immersion so much greater. Would also make your videos stand out a lot more because there aren't a lot of f1 UA-camrs out there who are using it :)
interesting point about the halo ben, ain't bought F23 as i never really used the previous versions i bought! cheers m8
Cheers Ray - and thanks for the support on the new channel even though you're not yet a convert to the F1 series! Let's see if I can change that! 😂
@@LaBrocaF1 hi m8, my hrs according to steam on F1 series,,,,,,,,,2016-44.4hrs, 2017-10.6hrs, 2019-7.6hrs, 2020-17.3 hrs, 2021- 20minutes, somehow i think you may have your work cut out my friend!!
I can only find FOV calculators for F1 21 or earlier. Are they using the same scale for FOV settings, as in F1 23? ?
Yep I believe so!
interesting view but doesn't look realistic at all! That's not what the drivers see is it. each to their own I guess.
He did state that in the beginning XD
they are awful xD
