Kind of you to say. I have someone who helps me and she reads most of them. Sends me ones I might like to respond to. I've had the misfortune of seeing some of the dreadful ones though. You're right - people need to get a life. It's hysterical. MOST people could not even handle talking TO a camera, let alone realizing someone is going to see your dust, your pores, your son's unbrushed hair, your backside as you walk away from the camera, etc... Most people are decent here in the comments and the ones who aren't get 'fan rage' and that, I confess, gives me a good laugh. Thanks for being here.

Under commit. And by that, I don't mean that I have commitment issues. What I mean is that I have learned over the years to say, "No." I now value my home time, family time, friend time, alone time, more than when I was busy, busy, all of the time.

One of the best decisions I made was deleting Facebook when my 1st born was about 2 months old (4 years ago). Both the immediate time waste AND the emotional drain that happens through out the day through taking on other people's problems is so time consuming. My husband and my children deserve what capacity I have for mental and emotional loads. Not other people that should also be tending to the well-being of their house. I can't even think about how much time of my daughters childhood (that she will never get back) would have been spent scrolling if I hadn't completely walked away from it.
Pinterest for ideas during designated times, UA-cam for content such as this only when my children are not around, and a very limited reading of news just to keep up with what I find relevant to our family and future

I'm not nervous:) But thank you for your kind words about the work that goes into this channel. I appreciate that. My hands shake after I drink my beloved coffee in the morning. I shoot myself in the foot 'cause filming days are so busy and so I pound WAY too much coffee without eating enough and never think about it until it's too late. I do it to myself:)

Really helpful. Thanks Angela. Seeing your spreadsheet sheets, lists and charts etc is so helpful. I love the tip about responsibility before fun and also what time you get up. Great tips. Would be great to know roughly what your meal times and bed time is because I'm taking a leaf or 10 out of your book. 😅
My daughter wants me to take a freezer meal course in March. I'm used to just watching a video on whatever I want to learn, but this is still a good outing to spend time together. It should be fun. I also have learned that traditional news outlets clip stories and leave out too much information. I saw that happen during the Freedom Trucker Convoy up here. But thanks to cell phones, people got the whole truth out. Like the fact that Canadians from coast to coast were united. This video shows that - "The Great Canadian Freedom Convoy". - ua-cam.com/video/jzO8pdSeutQ/v-deo.html&ab_channel=AnotherFrog The media never showed any of this, only airing Trudeau claiming it was just "a small fringe minority". Also turns out recently, that a judge ruled that the whole Emergency Act, and the Freezing of bank accounts that Trudeau enforced, was deemed to be illegal. Now there's a huge lawsuit against his government growing. But regular media sites don't give all this information. A really funny situation up here, is how Trudeau censored the internet by ordering Big Tech to pay the News outlets that he's given tax money to, and controls. But that backfired when Meta said no. Now he's made alternative sources for information, much easier to get.
I have never been able to do the meal plan thing, but I DO find it useful, on days when I just can’t think, is to have a list of meals posted on the side of my fridge to pull from that will work… meatloaf,bakedbeans and potato salad, chicken parm and noodles, chicken nuggets applesauce and greenbeans, tacos, white chicken chili (use rotisserie chicken), Alfredo w rotisserie chicken, fish stick tacos using bagged cabbage slaw w a sweet dressing, sloppy joes, Mac n cheese w wings, … just whatever you like. It’s great to have ideas when you’re not good at a daily plan.
And as a mom of 7, the one thing that absolutely got done in a day was I made my bed. Some days that’s the only thing I felt like I accomplished or the only room that was straight and at rest when I walked in!

Which social media, scrolling, and rabbit trails do you avoid? Did you need to break the habit, or did you never start?
I multi task. I listen to a book when I’m cleaning, knitting, or sewing. I clean while I cook. I plan while I take a walk. I talk on the phone with lonesome people while I’m organizing a closet or drawer. Also, I pick up as I go. If I can do two things at once, I do it. If I’m awake at night, I think about what would enhance life.
I ilke this way of organizing my thoughts! My brain works in a similar way.
Work first play second. Alway serves well. Makes the work go fast and easy knowing something fun on the other end
I could use spread sheets but I need a printer. The problem is when you get to be my age you can write things down and you still forget things. For example I can make a huge grocery list and then forget three things I need that aren't on my list. Thankfully I only live about five miles from two grocery stores. And now I'm wanting pork chops with apples and sage!

Thank you for sharing your tips. Your confession about Spread sheets comes as a blessing! I 'm known as the Spread Sheet Queen in my family *45 years* The family all laughed at me for years for my obsession of spread sheets. Know they all use them too. Life is so crazy and it is easy to forget things. I call them my Brain! It has diverted many arguments that waste time. Thanks again & God has Blessed a wonderful family!
Thank you Angela. I learn a thing or two listening to your videos. And yes, being a morning person helps me although I get up around 6:30am and allow at least an hour for coffee, calendar, bird feeding and maybe read a chapter before getting ready for my day.

I’m pretty sure this video was made shortly before she upgraded to a new washer and dryer. If I was getting a better set in a matter of days, all I’d worry about at that point is emptying the lint trap.
That looks like rust, no wiping that off. Happy for her she was able to replace them.

They start talking when I start talking. Some days (like that one) lighting necessitates that I film in that room:)
