@@Theo-bk6qj I don't get how that justifies it? I mean, Anakin killed an unarmed man who wasn't a threat, and Windu was about to kill someone who resisted arrest and had almost killed him. Clearly, what Windu said was right: "He's too dangerous to be kept alive!" As shown by how Palpatine could still use force lightning and kill him before he "stood trial." So, in short, Mace tried to kill Palpatine because he was, in fact, too dangerous to be kept alive.
Mr. Armadillo ツ I do understand that but he is hesitating until he done it. Though, I suggest you watch the entire movie again to better understand why he became Vader because that scene and this scene are a key point to it.

He kept sliding towards the dark side throughout the Clone Wars, a machination of Siduis. Anikin fell willingly because he grasped onto a toxic relationship. Not that Pademe was bad to him, but the fact that they had to keep everything a secret made it so toxic. It led to him looking for a way to save Pademe, and it shao led to the unsatisfactory answer he got from Yoda. Anikin was still a child in mind when it came to relationships. There isn't one or two scenes that display why he fell. You could say the first scene you see it was, in fact, in the Clone War movie. When he snapped at the assassin and the aggression here showed at chopping the arm off. Now, did Mindu have a cause to kill Palps? Yes. Because Mindu left the impulsive Anikin away from the conflict, he arrived at the place where Sidius looked to be at his most vulnerable. And Windu, ignoring Anikin screeching "I need him!" led to Windu's death.

Clearly, what Windu said was right: "He's too dangerous to be kept alive!" As shown by how Palpatine could still use force lightning and kill him before he "stood trial." So, in short, Mace tried to kill Palpatine because he was, in fact, too dangerous to be kept alive.
Mr. Armadillo ツ I do understand that but he is hesitating until he done it. Though, I suggest you watch the entire movie again to better understand why he became Vader because that scene and this scene are a key point to it.
@@Theo-bk6qj Anikin became Darth Vader because he was manipulated into it, and felt that the Jedi didn't give him satisfactory answers. He kept sliding towards the dark side throughout the Clone Wars, a machination of Siduis.
Anikin fell willingly because he grasped onto a toxic relationship. Not that Pademe was bad to him, but the fact that they had to keep everything a secret made it so toxic. It led to him looking for a way to save Pademe, and it shao led to the unsatisfactory answer he got from Yoda. Anikin was still a child in mind when it came to relationships.
There isn't one or two scenes that display why he fell. You could say the first scene you see it was, in fact, in the Clone War movie. When he snapped at the assassin and the aggression here showed at chopping the arm off.
Now, did Mindu have a cause to kill Palps? Yes. Because Mindu left the impulsive Anikin away from the conflict, he arrived at the place where Sidius looked to be at his most vulnerable. And Windu, ignoring Anikin screeching "I need him!" led to Windu's death.
