@@joebarra1010 Power is something people can be so different about. The Panamera GTS i had for a weak was pretty fast with his 460hp but there are enough people that would still call it "slow". Yeah but for daily my 150hp and 340NM 2.0 Diesel is enough as well. ;D

Yes you're right, usually sound is recorded separately and it doesn't match what is actually happening, although the editor should have noticed that sound was badly timed.

Fantastic! Sounds like a 1994 Honda NSX GT2 race car - very tasteful; not just going for sheer volume or pitch. The power gain and weight savings look wonderful! Slight pity that you still need a separate fob to activate it, rather than being able to activate it via the car's own sport exhaust button

Sounds like a Japanese made engine why Porsche didn’t just put the 4.0 gt3 engine on this developed a Frankenstein stroked to 4.0 removed turbos from 3.0 normal carrera engine maybe they don’t want it to be better than 911
It's a common knowledge that porsche doesn't want cayman to be better than 911. Also the reason why 718 gt4/spyder and gts 4.0L has a tall gearing problem.
@@morepanicboy7120 they have tall gearing designed for track use not 1/4 mile, on a track you hangout in 2nd and 3rd most of the time
@@TEFLONDONTRUMP2024 don't think that that's a good excuse since 911r, gt3 manual and speedster doesn't have that tall gearing problem. And they're all based on either gt3 or gt3rs which sits higher in porsche hierarchy, and also more track focused.
It just doesn't makes sense for porsche to put a more track focused gearbox on a cayman rather than on a 911.
Anyway Frank-Steffen Walliser (guy from porsche) admits that the gearing is too tall “The gearbox we have, don’t get me wrong, it’s an old one, an existing one and changing the gear was just technically not possible as we were running out of space on the shafts, if we need an adjustment there,”
Which, to some fans seems to be an excuse for the fact that porsche just doesn't want cayman to be better than 911.
So 718 gt4/spyder/gts 4.0 tall gearing problem isn't intentional for track purpose. Either you believe that porsche is purposely downgrading cayman for the sake of 911 or not.

At 37 seconds u can hear the manual, after that its all pdk 🤣

@@MuppetsSh0w no one did but I am still allowed an opinion. Akrapovič makes great stuff, my comment is not a knock on them - it’s more on Porsche. I have a 981 GTS and its a topic that has been discussed many times and Porsche owners agree that the standard 981 GTS with exhaust valve open sounds better than any later Boxster or Cayman 4.0 motor even with an aftermarket exhaust

They didn't change the sound the way they did cause they thought it would be funny.
They literally aren't allowed to make the cars louder and breath like the older models.
This isn't even new by any means, you'd think that people would understand by now that for every single car, the new versions are quieter and generally don't sound as good as their predecessors and that it's enforced by law.

A bunch of cheaper exhausts that cost halft if not even less than this and sound so much better
Akra does not sound super loud (except their GP lineup) like sc project or racefit and that's a good thing for me and people around i put just a racefit can in my 17 zx10r and i just couldn't bear the noise and man that made me realise why people hate loud exhaust. Akra are awesome if you want super high power gains at least for bikes anyday i don't know about their car stuffs.
