1:01 you can fold the enclosure another time making it into a circle shape about the size of a dinner plate and the elastic strap is to hold it together
I have two black ones. I tend to use one for rearing and breeding purposes. It doesn’t have the plastic side however it is good since the butterflies can’t cling to the plastic.
Great cage, I plan on getting one of these and buy some stick insects again. Had them as a kid and they were great pets, gotta find a low humidity species though for a cage like this.
I keep a Carolina mantis in one of these. While most people say you need to keep them in the smallest one my mantis does quite well. I think it’s because he was wild caught so he has experience with needing to move about to find food.

The classy Legened145 true ground beetles are predators. They need an earwig or some other small bugs they can catch and kill depending on the size.

My wife uses something similar as laundry baskets?
Yes but this is fully sealed.
Can we rear red cotton bugs in such cages?
Yes that should work, but finding a good food source might be a challenge to keep them alive. They shouldn't escape though.
Awesome cage. My advice, if you don't like killing insects. Don't kill insects. Why would anyone kill insects anyway?
How would you keep Bush crickets
Nice cage indeed :) :) :)
Oh yeah I love using it!
Does the weight of the walking sticks ever topple the cage over?
No never had this happen. They weigh very little.
that looks really interesting , i wonder if i can get them here in the UK.
Yeah I would imagine so, but it may cost you a bit more for shipping.
Yes! You can get them off ebay, I've got 3 of them after i ended up with 100 stick insects lol.
I have one of those to, there always realy handy!
I agree!
would this be good for rearing caterpillars?
Yes most definitely. Just need to keep the plants alive they feed on.
