The Karen complaining about people speaking Spanish brought back a fond memory.
I work in retail and me a co worker were talking and we spoke the slightest bit of Irish and we were laughing when this woman walked up to us and told us to stop speaking a "foreign" language even though it's our native tongue. We continued to speak in Irish and she lost it. She asked for the manager and basically said we were calling her name's in Irish. My manager asked us to repeat what we said and he started laughing as we said nothing to Offend or make fun of her.
In the end she was told that, she is in a country that was oppressed by the British and that we were just speaking in our native tongue as it made the joke funnier.
She was told to leave as she started to get racist and aggressive.
Americans really need to sort Their shit out and do their research before traveling to a country with a different language.
LOVE that! My Mom's 1st Gen from Ireland n all her family spoke Gaelic,just like our Italian Uncle spoke Italian. This is just false. As guaranteed by the constitution of the United States of America, everyone has the freedom and right to travel.. people are only ever wrong when they aren't traveling, but driving around the town they live.. if they were moving to another place it'd be fine, but since they're just bs driving around town, they aren't traveling. I've driven across the country 3 times with nothing on me or my vehicle, police didn't care to pull me over and when they did they told me they just had to make sure I wasn't a fugitive, cause a car with no plates is sketch, both times I was pulled over, I was let go. Its about doing what they need so they can let you go.. they won't worry about your car or you if you're actually following laws and simply moving to a better place to pursue happiness.
