Firebox 8C 06/08/24

At 12:40 this afternoon the CFD was alerted to assist RH&L (Company 8) with a working garage fire in Curwensville Borough. Shortly before Engine 1’s arrival command advised fire spread to a 2nd building and tasked the engine crew with pulling a 2nd line and pulling ceiling in the 2nd structure. Shortly after crews made entry the ceiling and roof of the structure collapsed trapping 2 fireman from Engine 1. Command quickly called for a 2nd alarm and crews began rescue efforts. After a quick but extensive extrication both members were removed from the rubble and transported to the hospital with minor injuries. Out of privacy for the 2 involved I have removed the mayday and rescue efforts from the video.
