Metro Warsaw // M1

The Warsaw metro was opened on April 7, 1995 and operates with two lines: M1 and M2. This video shows trains of types Metropolis by Alstom and Inspiro by Siemens pulling in and out the station. The video was made at "Dworzec Gdański", an interchange station for suburban and national trains.

Yes, because it's the same traction system by Alstom (it's called ONIX).

I think you should visit Świętokrzyska (M2), Plac Wilsona and Wierzbno. They are very unique and worth to see.

You're welcome! :) If you've got enough time, you should also have a look at Stadion Narodowy. It's a station with four tracks and two platforms. At the moment, only one platform is in use for regular service, the other one is for the new M3 line.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden, Ich lade. Am Montag wurde ein Vertrag für eine Machbarkeitsstudie für eine U-Bahn in Krakau unterzeichnet. Es wird eine U-Bahn oder eine U-Straßenbahn gebaut. Vielleicht wird es in etwa 10 Jahren sein. Die Zeit wird es zeigen.
