I usually have the bridle on the setting which pulls the hardest. Plus, it's much easier to pull around the tube tail and draw cool designs in the sky. I love hearing the fabric vibrate from the heavy pulls. It's awesome
There are two elastic bands that run on the bottom you can hook both of them at the same time to ensure it's even. I had the same problem at first and was looking for a dedicated hook point but I could never find one so I just used the elastic bands. I'm sure there's a name for them but not sure lol. Thank you! I want to eventually try to get into Revolution Kites, They look extremely fascinating.
@@KnifeFanatic Ah! I was thinking of doing the same thing but with the typical keychain rings, maybe some elastic bands would be better for the cause, thank you very much. :D
Great video. Did you think that 75 foot tail slowed you down? It looks super light in the video. I'm getting reacquainted with my Prism kites and have the Prism Illusion which has been discontinued. I believe the Illusion was the start of Prism making the Quantum. Nice flying.
Thank you!! Ya, the tail definitely slows it down and requires winds a little on the stronger side if you want to be able to whip it around and have fun with it. This is my first prism kite, and I love it. I've tried a revolution quad line kite a couple of times and returned it because I just couldn't get it. I think if someone who knew how to fly a quad helped me learn, it would be better. They look super fun, but I think the learning curve is pretty hard (at least for me) because I was trying to use the same mechanics for a dual line on the quad. I don't think I've heard of the illusion. I had a little 4 or 5 ft parafoil when I was younger, kind of like the synapse, and that thing was a blast. I just recently got back into kiting with the quantum. I think stunt kites are more fun because you have the ability to land and re launch the kite without the walk of shame, lol. Plus, there's so many tricks you can do once you get more advanced with it. I'm not really there yet, but hopefully, with time. Thanks for watching!!
Is this your first dual line kite? How was the learning curve? I’m trying to decide between a dual line framed like nexus or a dual lined foil like a synapse. Prism site says the synapse is a good one to learn on. Wondering what your experience was. Thx
@joshcampbell6682 This is my 2nd dual line. I bought a foil kite about the same size as a synapse when I was younger. I had fun with that and lived in a place where there's not a whole lot of wind. So I never flew it that much. But it was pretty easy to learn. I wanted something more agile, quick, and something I could eventually learn to do tricks on. The stunt/sport kites really caught my eye, and so I bought one. Stunt kites are pretty easy to learn as well, if you are talking about basic stuff. I've also tried a quad line kite, like a revolution, but I returned it because I tried several times and couldn't get the hang of it. I'm sure if someone taught me, I'd be able to learn. They look super fun once you get the hang of it though.
Lol jk, I would watch a lot of videos and just start trying to fly man, that's how I learned. I didn't have anyone to teach me. It's pretty simple to get the hang of the basics and get the kite up in the air.
Amazing ! One of the best pov I’ve ever seen and nice tricks
Thank you! I'm just getting into sport kites and really like it so far!
Prism is to Kites as Spyderco is to Knives & I've been collecting both for 35 years. Fun flying!
Haha ya, prism is awesome!! I'm sure you've got a nice collection for both!!
The Quantum is supposed to make noise. (The bridle is set to neutral, from the factory, to fly in most winds) that noise is feedback material!

How did you attach the tail to the kite? I have a hypnotist and I don't know where to attach it. Great video btw ^^.

Great video and a nice tail on that kite! With what line lenght did you fly?
Thank you!!! The lines are the stock 150# 85 foot dyneema 😁

That’s bad ass ❤
Thanks!!

Awesome video! What was the wind speed that day?
Thanks!! I'd say about 12mph, peaking at 15 some times, it was great!!!
How do i learn to fly this thing?
Very carefully
