Exceptionally clear instruction for such a feel oriented set of movements. It really helped seeing the kite framed between hands/handles. The focus on arm/torso movements versus micro wrist movement rang clear. Best tutorial I’ve seen shared. Appreciated! 😇🪁

Much appreciated! I'm still experimenting to try and find the best way to show the movements. Yes, absolutely. It's the macro arm and torso positions which make all the difference. It should feel like you're settling the kite into the positions dictated by your posture.

“Coax” is the absolutely perfect word in this tutorial…not to micro-manage.
We’re you able to make it to Portsmouth festival?? (If not…sorry if you wish you were able to:/)
Meant to say… an axle and flic-flac tutorial might be appreciated by many of your viewers. Thanks again for all your sharing 🙏 (on top of a likely busy personal schedule). You have a refined style and I think many flyers benefit from your efforts. Hope life has been kind to you kind sir 😊

@@HolyCannolis Thanks for the encouragement! Yes, I can do a tutorial on flic-flacs and axles. I will cover the fundamentals first; hover points make the most sense to cover next, then clock turns. Then I'll move on to the crazier stuff.
I was at the Portsmouth Kite Festival, and I got to meet Joe Hadzicki himself! It was an awesome weekend, the most fun I've had in ages: ua-cam.com/video/GDu1FViH0g4/v-deo.html

@@__revbox I wholeheartedly agree on building up through the progression of moves. Inverted side slides and clocking would be great before the crazy stuff. I just got a bit too excited after watching your Blast video with Flics/Axles;)
I figured you made Festival:) Am sure Joe is glad to have you as a Rev ambassador of sorts overseas.
Thanks again and hope your new place works out well. ✌️

What are your thoughts about your hand position being in a less ideal position or form? For example, the /\ position in your hands would be a better form for learning reverse flight, as opposed to what you are demonstrating in this video =. I'd like your thoughts on this as i enjoy watching you and care to know what you think. I believe the horizontal position - - is another form people tend to use. The = form is inhibiting a less ideal form for connecting maneuvers from what ive heard. Thanks for sharing and your time.

The orientation of the kite determines my handle positions. If the kite is sideways, then I use = position. If the kite is right way up or inverted, then I use || or /\. Diagonals are between those points.
I cannot imagine using a single handle position; each cardinal direction is different. As the kite moves to different orientations, my handles and posture automatically settle into those positions - they are one and the same thing.
