We LOVE Easy Peasy homeschool so much! We’ve been using it for almost 7 years now. I’ve looked into a few other curriculums and nothing else compares, it has everything we need and doesn’t have unnecessary busy work! Thanks for sharing your picks, love your channel ❤
Sounds like an awesome year!!! The Biblical archeology sounds like something I would love to do 😊 I have a 6th grader, a 3rd grader, a 1st Grader, and a 3 year old this school year. My third grader loves Easy Peasy's Math (because she doesn't like a lot of worksheets). So, if EP ever doesn't work for her I have been considering teaching textbooks. Was the switch with what they teach and what EP teaches smooth? Was there any gaps, I guess?
EP worked really well for us in the younger years but it did start to get a little challenging for me to help with once 5th/6th grade approached 😅 It’s still a great math curriculum!! Our switch has been very smooth! Teaching Textbooks has been great for us as it has enabled them to be super independent with math, so I can devote attention to other subjects with them and my youngest. I haven’t found any major gaps. You can view the lesson layout for the year, and that was helpful for me. I also had mine take the placement texts to make sure I was placing them in the correct level☺️ They are also offering a free trial if you are ever interested in just checking it out!😁
Hi!! So glad to hear that! Everything is going well for us too! We have skipped over some of the reading stories, so we are reading The Bobbsey Twins at Snow Lodge currently, but we are enjoying it☺ Thanks for checking in!
@@worldofweezewe skipped over a couple as well. We’re currently on the Jimmy Skunk stories and we are both entertained lol. I just love the language arts book! So to the point!
I was curious, so I researched the reading level for the books in the second reader. Most of these are on the 4th grade reading level. Just thought I’d share that!
Hi Erin, I just recently found your channel while looking up reviews for Easy Peasy. My children are 10 (Gr.5), 8, (Gr. 3), and 6 (Gr. 1). I also have a four year old but not concerned about her yet 😅 I’d like to focus on English/Language Arts and Math this year. We were all in a serious MVA last Christmas so homeschooling took a back seat. :/ I did the placement tests and my two oldest would be starting in levels 2 & 3. How do you find Easy Peasy Math vs Teaching Textbooks? Sorry to unload on you here, Erin 😅 🙈 I joined a FB group but haven’t felt comfortable to share or post anything.
Hi! No need to apologize!🙂 That's why I started my channel! We have found the transition to TT to be very smooth and no holes that we have discovered! They are both only in week #2 for this year so far so we are pretty much still in review stage, but so far it's going well!! Let me know if I can help with anything else😀
@@rikkib7636 We won a giveaway last year for a free year of TT and we tried it for my middle daughter and really enjoyed it! I knew it would work really well for my oldest too because I started to have trouble with helping him with EP Math once we hit level 5/6. I just felt challenged with it and I felt like I wasn’t helping him good enough. It was a big blessing when TT reached out to me and asked me to partner with them! I have a recent video about the switch🙂

Thanks for being here!! We love it too! For so many reasons!!☺️
We use Easy Peasy also! My niece used it for the first time last year and her standardized testing scores were amazing.
It’s one of my top favorite curriculum choices for so many reasons! Thanks for sharing your success with it also!😃
We love easy peasy!!! We haven’t used their language arts tho!!! Nothing wrong with going back with phonics as review helps!!!
What subjects do you use Easy Peasy for? How old are your children if you don’t mind my asking?:) I’m considering EP for my kids (Gr. 1, 3 & 5).
@@rikkib7636 my kids are 7,8,13,13,14,14 and 16 and we use easy peasy for history, geography, science, math and Bible!!!
I don’t think I realized that you have 7 kids☺️

@@worldofweeze just curious why you made the switch from EP to Teaching Textbooks. Did you find EP wasn’t working as well or just wanted a change? :)
