Love how they are trying to revive the mannequin challenge by doing it during random moments throughout their conversation. We stan social media queens😍 Plastique Tiara who?
In Judy Garland's defense- MGM literally had a medical center/hospital on their lot because of how many actors were overworked. This means it's absolutely plausible that people were in fact being given pills to get back to work during this time period. Looking into the behind the scenes of the Wizard of Oz is a real eye opener.
Judy expert here, Judy was forced into acting professionally as a child by her mother. Her and her siblings were a part of a small stage group and that is where Judy was discovered by an MGM agent and her mother signed her to work for them. As a child on set, she was subjected to brutal working conditions and her mother and family was mostly living off of her daughter's paychecks once she was signed and would force her to work many long hours to feed the family. Once she was a little older and was being cast in larger roles (mainly the Wizard of Oz) she was again subjected to terrible working conditions, and in order to get high energy performances from her MGM prescribed her amphetamines to keep her going during the day, and barbiturates to help her sleep at night. She was still a minor at this time, and her mom okayed the use of these drugs so that Garland could continue making money for the family. Not to mention MGM refused to let her eat anything on set except for soup, and even hired people to follow her around to enforce that she was maintaining her diet. The studio director of MGM even nicknamed Garland "My Little Hunchback". It was appalling. Garland DID do blackface, again she was extremely young, and it was something her mother signed off on and I'm sure she knew very little of the ramifications of blackface at her young age. She later came out and said in interviews that she deeply regretted having done it when she was older.
Hi, theme park gay from Belgium here. Bob: I only ride rollercoaster with over the shoulder restraints. Not just lap bars. Also Bob: Rip it Rockit in Universal is amazing! Rip it Rockit has lap bars ... 😂 Literally the only vacations I do with my husband are theme park vacations. On our biggest trip so far was in America, visiting about 15 theme park and 3 waterparks in just over 3 weeks (if I remember correctly). If think we drove through 12 different states and nearly got to 4500 miles. One of my favourite memories is when we stayed at an air B&B hosted by two lovely gay women. One of them was actually in the military if I'm not mistaken and she also flies on the Air Force One. Another memory I'll never forget is when were close to arriving to one of our motels, we then realised it was in the middle of the Amish country. We finally got there and at the reception there were all these little papers with bible quotes you could take. I was like ok ... sure. That's a first for me. A few people entered at the reception (quite sure it was a family) and my husband started checking in. They were reading the specifications of our room: 2 persons, 1 queensize bed. Since I was standing behind my husband, who is a lot taller than me, they didn't see me yet. Aaaaand then they did. All of them went completely silent and started look at each other. There was so much tension in the air and I was scared as hell. Luckily they gave our keys and left us alone. I'd like to think that after we left, the whole town came together and burned our bedsheets in some sort of ritual to get rid of the demons. I guess we'll never know 🤷♂️ Best vacation ever 🙂
Random side note- my Dad played a police officer in a Jackie Chan movie from the 90s (Mr. Nice guy). He had one line 😂 He wasnt an actor, he was an electrician who was working on the set one day and they needed someone
the difference between bob and monet is that when bob dont know something they'll just say they dont know it and monet will literally make any shit up lol im dying
38:25 Monet's right, Rip Ride RockIt at Universal Orlando has simple lap bars, not over-the-shoulder harnesses 42:43 Cyclone was never the oldest wooden coaster in America, it's not over water or sand (though it's near the beach), the track *is* wood (though it has steel running plates for the wheels, like most wooden coasters), and despite being one of the most famous coasters in the world it was in really dire positions at various points from the '70's to the '00's (its sister coaster, the Thunderbolt, stood dormant for 20 years before being torn down in 2000, which is probably what Bob's remembering). However, the Cyclone received MAJOR refurbishment replacing most of its wood from 2011 to 2016, and now it runs like it's brand new.
Bob talking about Action Park was sending me but didn’t even mention one of the craziest parts; The guy who owned/ran action park bought new ambulances for the town because they were having so many people going to the hospital.
"The Network", "The Studio" we just mean, Rich white men of the then and now quite frankly that feel they OWN the stars and people they employ, this happens in a lot if not most Boss/Employee dynamics but because there is so much $$$ involved in "the studio", "the network" it is especially abusive.
You guys should do the sling shot in wigs to test who can glue/pin a wig down better....then again, we already know who may be the loser of that challenge
im pretty sure the term "midwest" was pre-Louisiana-Purchase, so it was in the middle of the country at the time since the country ended at the Mississippi River.
I saw Precious in the movie theater and I KNEW I would NEVER ever watch it again. That movie was too murch....Monique's character was a straight monster and I couldn't relate to that level of evil from a Black mother.
No mention of King's Island 😭 It has the Beast which is the longest wooden rollercoaster ever. And the Son of the Beast which was fucking destroying people
Precious is ICONIC! Me and my sister LOVE This movie. It’s so sad. But also a great book. I know the only whole movie by heart lol. Sad but true. It’s an amazing story and suggest it to anyone! Okay watch precious and read the boook!!!
4:31 it’s honestly shocking the amount of people who still don’t know that india is an asian country. i’m south asian (bengali) and my siblings and i have each at some point had to explain to friends that india and bangladesh are in asia because they’re so baffled when we call ourselves asian 😭😭 some people think of asia as just east asia 😭😭
Wait a minute... the midwest thing makes so much sense when you consider the middle east is called the middle east for the exact same reason, but in the east.
That's actually not why it has that name. Before American colonizers inhabited the Western US they referred to the west coast as the "far west" and areas closer to them as "midwestern". Back then anything west of Appalachia was considered "the West".
I love how monet makes up a whole geography game in which he doesn't know the answers and is also naming cities as instead of states
Mood 😌
Top 5 countries Monet wants to visit-
Asia
London
Brazil
Africa
Bali
Not laila's crunchy video being contagious 🤣
Dead

I love bob and Monet spend the first half of the pod cast talking about everything but the Topic and I M O B E S S E D 👏🏾👌💁🏾♂️😂😂
when they get forced by their label, they will not let then release music etc. but people do use it as a scapegoat a lot!!
OMG It made me so happy to hear someone mention 2gether. No one ever knows what I'm talking about.
You guys should do the sling shot in wigs to test who can glue/pin a wig down better....then again, we already know who may be the loser of that challenge
What if Moneys flew off & then she had another pussycat wig underneath 🙊another iconic wig reveal ❤️
starting out the pod with a prayer, god bless
BTDK wont scream while riding a roller coaster but screamed like crazy when Naomi was trying to put contacts in 🙃🤣🤪😂
A lot of people in the USA don’t know that Mexico is in North America

Bob got his US maps dicombobulated
Not 23:40 into the video we just now mention the topic 🤣😭🤣🤣
The ride Bob was describing is a drop tower, not a roller coaster.

Jackie Chan disowned his lesbian daughter who was homeless.
what the fuck i have never heard of this
NY State Fair is in Syracuse
Every phone has google-google image map of US. Astonishes me the amount of people that don’t know where the states are. 🤯
Yaaaay! Mid day episode ❤️
Not Monet's chauffeur doing glory hole drop offs lmao 🤣
Love you both
OMG I remember 2gether!!
Labels will threaten to bury your albums, bury you, they will take your name so you can release music again. They can be really shady.
Yes, Precious was sold out everywhere and everyone in the audience was a Black Woman or Gay Man
I'm with Bob. Mr. Freeze in St. Louis is only a lap bar, and I fully almost fell out of that seat. Hard no. Never again.
Came here to tell Bob he is wrong about the whole character head situation, there are extreme circumstances where you are able to for safety reasons 😅
The One About ✨Geography✨
I had to stop watching a Try Guys video because I saw this ep was out! I love Bob and Monet so much!!!! #NoShade
Oh my god same😭
As an Indiana resident, I am offended you think Wyoming is west of Indiana.
Go to Dollywood!!! It’s epic.
12:04 this sounds like Boyz 4 Now from Bobs Burgers lol
Wait a minute... the midwest thing makes so much sense when you consider the middle east is called the middle east for the exact same reason, but in the east.
Bob: doesn't have a strong grasp of geography but still teaches me more than 5th grade social studies
That's actually not why it has that name. Before American colonizers inhabited the Western US they referred to the west coast as the "far west" and areas closer to them as "midwestern". Back then anything west of Appalachia was considered "the West".
this channel, Fascinating Horror, did a video on Action Park. it. was. wild.
Jackie Chan disowned his gay daughter let her be homeless . I lost all respect for him.
Not Alicia KLEYES 😂😂😂

When Monet gets her East's and Wests mixed up.
Correction BOB the cyclone is still up and running 🙈
I’m Mexican and love the Chaska ( street corn) but eating it makes me break out in pimples so no thanks ☺️
Tragic ... I will mow down elote like nobody's business, Monet was CLOSE to CANCELLED for not being into it.
Kingda ka is the tallest coaster in the world
Y'all spoiling me
Does bob get scared when washing his face and thinking about looking back up and seeing someone behind them in the mirror
Is it just me or it’s laggy lol
I hate Precious but, it’s necessary.
Girl….. I remember watching that movie for the 1st time,& bawling my eyes OUT! It was uncomfortable yet enthralled me to it.
