Super interesting. When you were talking about "The Message" I didn't realize until you pointed it out that it would be Haram to depict Muhammad.

One of the reasons we created our audio series was exactly because of the lack of Islamic Cinema. Check us out, I think you'll like it :)

Aw man can we know what were the reasons behind such a seemingly well thought out man such as yourself to leave islam ? A man of patience and knowledge would certainly not shy away from possibly learning new informations about reality. May Allah grant you (including everyone reading this), your family and friends peace, success, rightful guidance, protection and blessings.

Hey man, I am a Muslim myself and was really saddened when I heard you are no longer Muslim (2:45). I also see here you have lots of questions and I do believe I could answer them for you. If you are interested in getting answers I would love to have a discussion with you. Feel free to respond to this comment and we can figure out a way to talk. BTW, although you are correct that "Music" is not allowed in Islam, but you should look into something called Nasheeds which is basically a religious form of music. Actual music (Using bad words and instruments etc) is not allowed but they are. There is lot of depth in Islam that I could discuss with you. 😁

I grew up in a muslim household myself and harbor more agnostic views now, but I don't get why you are so saddened about people leaving faiths? Its so odd to me how thats the number one issue in the eyes of the community. Like why does that have such an emotional effect on you? He didn't bash the religion, he just stated he left in a respectful way

Islam is a family, so every single muslim is my brother/sister. Would it not sadden you if your family member left your family? Also, the thing that upsets me is that the Muslim household he grew up with didn’t properly educate him otherwise he would have no reason to leave.

@@Anim3Panda16 every human should be treated as brother and sister. It’s not exclusive to Islam but I kind of get what you’re saying in terms of being a part of a community who shares the same values, but people should be free to leave and still have respect. If a bother or sister finds happiness in another faith, that’s not a bad thing if you truly respect them
What makes you think he wasn’t educated? That’s a very odd and judgemental assumption on your part. And what exactly is your definition of “educated”

No he was getting educated in Sunday School, I’m saying like he said “we would just get bored and dosed off cause we wanted to watch marvel” I also administrate for Sunday School where I live and our number 1 thing is to make sure all the kids are having fun and getting good education. Also I would love hear the agnostic beliefs that you have since I went through a similar phase.

@@Anim3Panda16 If he was getting bored and dozed off then that means he was never really a believer in the first place, and you can’t really force someone to believe in faith since that comes from within and a main part of Islam is to be a believer that there is no god but Allah. You should realize that being more “educated” wouldn’t change his mind even though you never really defined what “educated” means. It could be forcing him to pray 5 times a day or memorizing the Quran, or even fasting during Ramadan or even learning the different interpretations of the Quran, but if he doesn’t really believe in Islam then what’s the point of all that?
My agnostic belief stems more from my secular lifestyle and being strong in my belief that I am unsure of wether there really is a god or not. You think it’s a phase because you can’t seem to accept that people can have other beliefs, and that being agnostic is a belief too. If there is a god or higher power that transcends our basic understanding of the world, then I don’t believe we can’t sense his presence
