Do you know what market this interview was intended for? It's titled VOA Europe making me think it was for the European radio stations, but the interviewer clearly has an American accent.
It's unfortunate that OMH didn't do better. I remember hearing "Didn't We Almost Win It All" on the local AC station a few times and got very excited. It had been a long time since I heard Laura on the radio. Ultimately the song never took off, sadly. It's one of the very best on this lovely, if inconsistent, album.
I was thinking the same too when I read VOA Europe and then the American accent. I'd have chosen I'll Wait For You and Love Your Girl as the dance tracks to market. Then go for LB's version of Roxette's The Sweet Hello, The Sad Goodbye followed by the masterpiece of balladry, Over You, It's Been Hard Enough Getting Over You and Didn't We Almost Win It All?
