MUCA - Damien Hirst - The Weight of Things - Trailer

As the very first major survey exhibition of Damien Hirst in Germany, “The Weight of Things” features over 50 works spanning 40 years of the artist’s career, including some of Hirst’s most iconic series like Natural History (formaldehyde sculptures), Spin Paintings, Medicine Cabinets, Treasures from the Wreck of the Unbelievable, Cherry Blossoms, as well as Spot and butterfly paintings.
For the Love of God (2007), Damien Hirst’s celebrated platinum cast of a human skull covered by 8,601diamonds, which was displayed in the MUCA Bunker for a limited time, starting from the exhibition opening on October 26, 2023 until January 28, 2024.
