Oh I think she still has a beautiful voice. She can’t hit the high notes nor hold them as long anymore, but she is in her mid 70s and last time I checked she’s not a vampire.
Regine Velazquez Alcasid is much much better than her regine is a filipina in the Philippines shes a mother but has the highest voice in the world for my opinion
I love Regine as well, but she's not Streisand. This was her song, she sang it in the movie "Yentl". Granted, that was 35 years ago, and Barbara is 76 now. Regine's voice is very high pitched, but she can't hold a note. Here's the movie version, She holds a note over 20 seconds at the end. ua-cam.com/video/kT7R-QCrhtg/v-deo.html Watch from 2:20.
Lazerx1 regine can hold a note but not with her version of this, because she put diffrent taste so instead of holding the notes for 20 seconds she belt it more higher than stresand version but both singers are good ;)
@@lazerx1828 i agree with you. Barbra Streisand is a legend. Regine's version of these songs is magnificent but it lacks clarity and awe a Barbra Streisand could create. Barbra is a legend
Best performer of our generation

her vibrato is mesmerizing. Regine's most favorite singer.
I agree with you!
In her seventies she still sounds amazing. This song always makes me think of my father that I lost in 2002. Yes, I still miss him so much.

She's a human being!!!!!! Don't come on this feed and make less than smart comment's.
It's called getting older, sir.
EVERY TRICK IN THE BOOK AND STILL NO VOICE LEFT........

@@mynameissurya19 Thoughtful.
@@mynameissurya19 If you say so. LOL
Yes, this is very awful. It is time for her to retire.
You obviously were never a fan to begin with.
Man. She’s lost a lot of her range and support
she’s been singing since the early 1960s that’s nearly 60 years of professional singing, the fact that she can still sing at all is incredible
If this is what you call "lost range and support" then I can't even imagine what she was like before she lost it! :)
