Anything with that Daft Punk soundtrack is going to rock. I loved Tron Legacy, it's a visual feast for the eyes and ears and this pinball game looks really cool.
Good video guys I played some of the TRON pinball at comic-con in San Diego - liked the action of it my only complaint was having to hold down the left flipper to activate the skill shot that was kinda meh

I remember my first multiball. I was probably 8, and on a family vacation to Disney World. Our hotel had a pinball machine in the lobby. I played it the day we flew in, and got a multiball. I had played a lot of pinball machines, but I guess they either didn't have it, or I didn't get it... but man, that first multiball is an amazing experience. I was like "WTF !!! THIS IS INCREDIBLE!!"
Interesting found this on a website for £4,000 was like I didn't know they even made Pinball machines anymore let alone tie ins with big movies and then I found CGR do reviews for Pinball tables :) That's just awesome
The LE version has color changing lights all over and magnets. I didnt see the ball fly around once. Magnets would make the ball fly around in crazy ways while playing. Really fun table!
There are pinball machines all over Disney World, if you know where to go. The arcade at The Magic Kingdom has 7 machines - from Sega, Williams, and Stern. I played Tron Legacy this morning at one of the Disney World Resorts. I loved it! Plus, they had it set up for 4 credits per throw. So I got to play ALOT of games of this great table. STAY AWESOME! :)
I didn't say I worked hard on the machine, the point is that after only a couple of weeks the machine needed any work at all. This machine wasn't on location and was only played a few times a day. The rubbers weren't "stressed," they were crap and was a fairly common issue. They cut corners and rushed the thing out the doors, there's no getting around that point. FWIW, you should upload a video of your Tron LE to your channel.
If you have the chance to do it, I would recommend that you find and play the Star Trek The next generation pinball machine (from the early 90's). One of the finest pinball machines ever made, challenging but not too challenging, lots to do, but it does not feel cluttered, appealing art and it sports a nice picture of Picard! Play it and love it!
This is my first time seeing the Tron Legacy table, and it is awsome! I want to play it now, but the closest pin ball table to me is about 200 miles away, and I doubt there is a Tron Legacy table within 400 miles. The music is awsome as well.
Are you a mind reader? Because after I watched your last pinball review, I noticed Best Buy was selling a Tron Legacy machine and I went to UA-cam and watched a bunch of videos about it, but no one reviewed it. Thank you, Mark.
Hall of Fame is Awesome. I have it on Wii and have gotten my daughter into it. We have the Williams and Gottlieb Collections. Can't wait for Pinball Arcade to come out for the Wii U or I am also looking into getting 360 just for that. I love all the games they have picked to make.

I think the guy that plays Castor/Zeus should host the game rather then a generic woman and it NEEDS more then three songs from Daft Punk.

Pretty common way of showing tilt warnings. It's common to "nudge" the machine (more of a hard shove to one side or forward) to stop a ball from going down the outlanes or between the flippers into the drain. Push the machine too hard and you get a tilt warning, shown by WARNING or DANGER on the screen and a sound effect. Do that 3 times in one ball and you tilt, losing your ball instantly as well as your end of ball bonus. If you push the machine dangerously hard, you'll slam tilt it, which ends your game instantly with no high score to boot.
''having worked on the machine''...so changing a few stressed rubbers for the SLINGSHOTS and updating the optional game code= very cheap? Sounds like you worked hard... Sure, the lockdown bar is a different approach (latches like a video game) but this is easily one of the best machines made. Very fast and a blast to play. Seems to do well both in the home and in the field. Too bad they cut production.
I look at it like this: There is so much complaining about Stern and their ''cheapness'' yet they are still the only real game in town that can punch out a new pin (sometimes as many as three a year) and are they all homeruns? NO. But, for whatever cheapness they put in to their machines, and for what people pay for these (never mind the le costs that rise) People have enough money to mod them or strenghten them to their desire. (new rubbers, ramp protectors, leds, etc)
Having worked on the machine... is is very cheap and dirty. My friend sold a few of his machines to buy this thing... after about 2 weeks the rubbers for the kickers had already broke, the music level couldn't be adjusted (stayed at the same volume no matter what you set it at), and the release for the glass is a joke. They cut every corner they could with this machine and rushed it out the door so we had to update the game's ROMs about 4-5 times before the thing even started acting right.
I've played this pin a ton of times to try to find what it is people like about it. Personally I find it sparse and not all that good a game overall. I'll take SM over this one anyday.
[Pin2k? Ew. too much virtual crap.] disclaimer: I am oldschool. EM all the way. Everything post-Sorcerer was more or less crap. Until Twilight Zone, but that was it. Tron LE -- and really, it has to be the LE! -- is the first game since Sorcerer [besides TZ] that really excited me. My first sojourn took me to 47M, which was...meh. But it was a lot of fun. Even more so with the EOS speakers attached to it. TWO pinballs up for this awesome game. ...but pin2k it? SRSLY? I think NOT!!

What surpised me most was clean art without so much as the title exploding out of it (visually that is). Amazing machine.
