A Spring Day in the North Cascades

At the end of March I ventured up into the North Cascades to enjoy one of the first days of spring. These trails and sights are just outside of the borders of the National Park and offer some beautiful views of the National Park itself. These mountains have a lot to offer year round and are peaceful and gorgeous in early spring, enjoy!

Not to date myself but I remember taking a boat a train tour before the highway was built. Very beautiful place the North Cascades. Lots to explore, hikes and climbs to do. Very nice Bonnie!

The area around Gorge creek looks to have recovered nicely. Last visit,some years back, when I was there it had wildfire damage. That metal mesh bridge 😯...its like walking on frozen pond. Tread lightly and carefully.
