This video had some nasty compression issues from GTA V's rendering quality, I had assumed for the duration of the editing process that this was simply part of Adobe premiere's low quality preview window, but it wasn't, and I simply did not have the time to resolve it. So - apologies. - Ігри

Okay Evan.. My dude. I can't even find the words man.. If I were to comment on everything I appreciated and liked in this video I'd have to write a fucking book man. I was glued to this the entire time. I didn't think you would be able to top The Sacrifice but holy shit was I wrong. The story, the cinematography, the ambiance, the emotion, the character building, the writing, etc. all so well done.. The list goes on man You are one talented individual. I am so happy you have support too and you have people that are able to help out with the voice acting, it's the cherry on top man. I can only imagine the stress and hard work that goes into projects like this. Props to you and your team on this great work. Bravo man can't wait to see what's next.

kwl beans man, love the claustrophobic feel with the aspect ratio and color pallet, reminds me of Trey Edward Shults' 'It Comes At Night' and Robert Eggers' 'The VVitch'. Not sure about some of the voice acting, not in performance but in consistency. altogether damn good movie.
Seen both of those films. I guess it's 'the VVitch' in color grading (My Lumetri preset is literally called The VVitch) and 'Its Comes at Night' in cinematography, spare the alternating aspect ratio. As for voice acting, I agree. Would have been pickier if I wasn't rushing.

Katabasis or catabasis (Ancient Greek: κατάβασις, from κατὰ "down" and βαίνω "go") is a descent of some type, such as moving downhill, the sinking of the winds or sun, a military retreat, A TRIP TO THE UNDERWORLD, or a trip from the interior of a country down to the coast. Always love the word evan, even if it is a lot of metaphors. (Or maybe im wrong completely and missed the whole point or something, never really was good at figuring out films)

*About the compression problem:* Did you use "Extended Video Export" for rendering from GTA? I have a tutorial on my channel for this. It really improves bitrate especially for dark shots. Also, even if you edit in 1080p it might be worth upscaling to 4K in Premiere because UA-cam allows higher bitrates for 4K than for 1080p. I did the same for my recent video "Halloweenception" in case you wanna have a comparison. If you have any questions hit me up on the SD discord.

The woman's sister died in a crash. Then her and a few people did some sort of ritual to go to the afterlife-purgatory, so she could see her sister again. As far as the other guy's she was with, i don't know what their motivation was for going.

When this video first showed up in my subscriptions I actually didn't comprehend that it was a recent release. Took me about 5 seconds to realize that Christmas came early to UA-cam. Amazing work, as always.
I am wondering though, is this something that was in the works for a while, or was this a spontaneous idea you gave life to? I remember you saying that you were doing a bunch of meticulous work with the Wasteland script and filming, and that you had videos that you wanted to finish editing to put up. Regardless, I hope you are doing well and love watching these machinimas.
