This guy was honestly my favorite part of this movie and I would be content to watch an entire film based solely on him. His lazy attitude, his ridiculous style, his accuracy with a baseball and bat. Straight up awesome.

MaestroAlvis I think you have to take the scene and the movie for what it is and not try to look too deeply into the realism of it. It's not meant to real or realistic, its meant to be really cool entertaining martial arts mayhem action choreography that is super violent and a lot of fun to watch for people who are fans of that style of movie.

I now realized why I enjoyed this scene, especially the sequence at 0:45. The fact the camera hardly shakes, mostly long takes, and the movement is fluid with the sounds feeling so impactful. It reminds me of classic Jackie Chan fight scenes. This one in Particular reminds me of the playground fight scene in Police Story 2.
Thats actually a big thing in the Raid movies in general. Take the car chase scene; theres one bit that actually has the camera follow through one window into the car and back out the opposite window with no cuts. They actually passed the camera across through the car filming the scene. The lack of cuts makes you feel like your actually sitting there watching it since it feels more like your panning your head to get a different view than it swapping to different viewpoints. I wish more directors attempted such an approach. You feel like a bystander watching something go down than sitting in a theater watching a screen.
I like how the guy at 1:04 waited patiently for baseball bat guy to beat up his buddy before screaming and rushing in. He could have easily stabbed him in the back, but nope he waited it out. Good sport that guy.

He kills Abraham and Glenn. The spoilers have begun circulation. The PoV we saw in the season 6 finale was Abraham's. He was the one getting the cliffhanger death. Then Daryl has an outburst or some shit after that and so Negan gets pissed. He doesn't kill Daryl because he admires Daryl and sees potential there, so instead he goes after Glenn because Glenn was the one who had an outburst the first time. Negan then takes Daryl with him and has him sort of become an indentured servant, he has Daryl in some sort of weird burlap uniform with a symbol on it. In episode 4 Negan and Daryl will visit the Alexandria so Negan can collect their first offering and the whole group seems to be pissed at Daryl. Rick is kind of forgiving but they all couldn't give a fuck about the situation Daryl is in. It looks like Daryl might become a Savior. The Glenn death will be shown in full. It will be brutal as fuck and just like how it is in the comics.

The guy with the cigarette always cracks me up. He tries so hard to inhale the smoke. I guess, you try to get the best out of 15 seconds of screen time before you're killed off...
man I feel bad for directors like Gareth Evans, he's making quality films with low budgets while Michael Bay gets a shit ton of money to make trash. they incorporate nice cgi with mediocre scenes and expect people to drool over special effects. I tend to find simple scenes the most effective
I am writing a novel about a few teens with superpowers. One of them has enhanced senses and he fights with gymnastics, until he later on finds a baseball bat. So, it is very interesting seeing this guy fight with a bat, so I can study the moves. 😂
