This is a great and catchy song! I don’t know where Austin finds the time to write all these songs. Tim too, he’s written some beauties recently as well. Love Austin’s braid tribute to Willie! Thanks for another great reaction! ❤️
An Austin Brown original (co-written with Andrew Tufano). This is one of my favorites from their latest album. I always turn up the volume in the car and sing along when this comes on!
Our "Fabulous Five" definitely deserve so much more exposure and fame! But we Home Fries appreciate that the guys continue to stay grounded and approachable even as their stars continue to rise❣️🎼🥰🎶❤ Wishing our Home Free fellas all the success and fame they desire 🤩
Hahaha you got it right Josh! Yeah it’s hard to remember their names….get it?! It will come in time. Yeah cute song that Austin wrote so it’s an original. Adam with his crazy sounds was so good and Tim was great in his lower register. Cute video too with the Babe Ruth kid pointing to where he would hit the ball…he became legendary. So cute. Good reaction Josh😍🥰
I love their new originals. This is (if I remember correctly) the last of their new songs that didn’t have a video. I really appreciate how many videos they have done compared to some of the other groups with “bigger fan bases”
I know that other acapella bands do their own arrangements; however, do any of them write their original material? I'd like to know which band(s) and song(s) so I could give those a listen! Thanks!
Relatively sure ptx has, at least some, originals. I don't really follow them much since avi left so could certainly be wrong. AFAIK, HF has much more original music than the other Vocal groups.
Another great original song! Love the nostalgic feel of this song & the video. They mention a few of the country greats in this song. Austin sings about Willie (Nelson) at one point. Think his braids are an homage to Willie. Love Tim's lower tone in the verse he sings. And Adam is awesome as usual. These guys are so talented & in a league by themselves.
This was written by Austin and Andrew Tufano. This is the last of the videos for the So Long Dixie album. Austin somehow has a way of putting a song together and making it fun or heartfelt. Enjoyed watching your reaction to this song.
Home Free really have out done themselves with this album. The fire dancers add great special effects to the video. Starting with Rob's smooth voice, Austin's heart bursting with love for Amberly, Adam with his beats and the harmonies make for ab outstanding song and video
I love this video & song - the nods to country greats like Luke Bryant, Garth Turner & Willie Nelson (Austin's braids have gotta be a nod to Willie - I like them!). And, of course, the reference to Babe Ruth in the form of the boys playing baseball. Another HF original s (Austin co-wrote this one & Playing With Fire) - they just keep going from strength to strength. Thanks for playing this & your comments.
This was one of my favs from the So Long Dixie album. I love that they've produced excellent videos for every song on there. It is certainly catchy. But I loved the sultryness of Playin With Fire. That song had sexy HOT lyrics. A real departure for them...and I'm here for sexy songs sprinkled in here and there. I bet Chance could handle some lyrics with heat. Nothing graphic. Just rated PG-13. LOL
Definitely enjoy your reactions a lot - thx 😊😊. As others said no issue as to the Chance/Chase bit. I certainly enjoyed your summary of the potential basis for that 😅. I constantly mix up my kids' and family dog names- stuff happens I think that is the last possible vid for a song from the last album and all songs are covered. What will be next? Tim mentioned a bit ago that 2 new albums are in the works. Maybe a release will happen?
This is more upbeat and yep its an original written by Tim along with Chris Chatham and i think some other people he's worked with. I love this one and I'm so diggin that Austin's got his own braids when singing about Willie. And Adam's making sounds I didn't think possible. Thanks for the reaction. Started Saturday nice. ✌🏻&🩷
@@marylee7467 The credits on the album say Austin and Andrew Tufano, and Austin talked about how they wrote it and what he changed when they went to record it in the livestream they had about the album.
A lot of references to country artists and baseball two of America's favorite ways to pass time an original song with a catchy verse and and fantastic video.
~Still shaking head over those braids!~ I recall Tim saying (somewhere) that one of the reasons he cut his hair is because he did not want to look like Willie Nelson with long grey hair! 😂
Great explanation about Chase! Love it! Names are that way. I like this one, too. Most people have identified the singers (including, of course, Willie Nelson). In the beginning, though, there's another Willie...Willie Mays. I've only seen one other person reacting to reactions (grin) who has mentioned that name. This song also reminds me of "Dreamer," which I don't see in a search of your channel. It's a GREAT song, about Grand Ole Opry greats, and the dreams that singers have to BE one of those greats. It features Rob, and it's just lovely. (hint, hint, hint) 😀
Fun reaction. This has a fairly quick tempo, for most of it, a nice bop. As with so many HF sings, instant ear worm. For some reason, found it easy to zero in on what each of the guys is doing, except Chance. Obviously helping to make this sound amazing but, yes, would've been nice if he'd had a moment to shine. This is the last video for the songs on their 'So Long Dixie' album. Whatever the guys put out next will be brand new. Hoping we'll see Rob and Chance take the lead in a few. Interesting timing of this release. Given the visuals of the young ball players, the Little League World Series is finishing up this weekend. Kids from El Segundo, CA (a small community in LA) are vying for the championship. If any of them, or their families, saw this, perhaps it struck a chord especially given some of the lyrics.
The word play in this song is fantastic. And, those Willie Nelson braids! Perfection.
This is a great and catchy song! I don’t know where Austin finds the time to write all these songs. Tim too, he’s written some beauties recently as well. Love Austin’s braid tribute to Willie! Thanks for another great reaction! ❤️
This an Austin original. Home Free are the best. Love Austin's Willie Nelson braids. Love your reaction!
Love the Babe Ruth shout out with the kids. Austin was channeling his inner Willie Nelson. Love it!
An Austin Brown original (co-written with Andrew Tufano). This is one of my favorites from their latest album. I always turn up the volume in the car and sing along when this comes on!
Another original they knocked out of the park! ⚾👏👏
Love this song!! ❤

Good job, Josh. Always enjoy your reactions! (This was an original).
Awesome as always, these guys are so amazing! Very catchy, love it! Thanks for another awesome reaction!!👏👏

It's original on the "So Long Dixie" album.
I love this video & song - the nods to country greats like Luke Bryant, Garth Turner & Willie Nelson (Austin's braids have gotta be a nod to Willie - I like them!). We forgive you lol
Another great video. Love this song and great video. Harmonies are as always great and love Tim's low bass.💗💗💗💗💗

I absolutely love these guys! They’re amazing! Why don’t I hear them on the radio regularly?!?!

Another great one Austin Brown!! # coolwilliebraids
I knew it had something to do with Willie. Austin wearing Willies brades.
Always watch the end of the video. Rob let’s you know that Austin wrote the song.

Actually Austin wrote it
@HennyvanderMeer Odd, I looked it up and it said Tim did.
@@marylee7467 The credits on the album say Austin and Andrew Tufano, and Austin talked about how they wrote it and what he changed when they went to record it in the livestream they had about the album.
This song is actually written by Austin & Andrew Trefono.
If you watch the end of the video Rob tells you that Austin wrote the song.
A lot of references to country artists and baseball two of America's favorite ways to pass time an original song with a catchy verse and and fantastic video.

I’ll forgive you a lot if you keep doing reactions. Thanks.

Check out their version of Ed Sheeran's Thinking Out Loud. Great song and video storytelling.
It seems that pretty much the songwriter sings the lead
