Rizzo pointing out all the inconsistencies of Hollywood is basically the same energy as Benji singing all of the High School Musical songs
So true lmao
THIS
Historical fact: Marty Wolf was the first person caught in 4k.
Also it’s so (sadly) refreshing when you have a movie where the male lead and the female lead are strictly just friends. There is so allusion that they have a crush on each other or nothing like that, they are strictly brother-sister type ride or die friendship. Catch that kid (which I haven’t seen but I think would be fun to watch a reaction to because Kristen Stewart before twilight and corbin bleu before HSM) for example literally ends with Kristen’s 2 male guy friends arguing who would be a better bf for her…little do they know…she not a fan of the boys…
The Hilary Duff version of Cinderella story! Carter has no crush on her and is just a great friend the whole time. It’s so refreshing.
@@jooj3699 very true, but also he’s not really the male lead. Chad Michael Murray is and her male friend is just her best friend. But that would be a cute reaction because Jennifer Coolidge being an icon.
@@MeganSin I mean, you’re not wrong about Austin being the lead, but honestly Carter has more scenes with her than Austin does and spends significantly more run time with her. It would be super easy to fall into the “best friend is jealous and salty about potential competition” trap, but Carter is so wholesome and happy and they don’t even excuse it by just doing the “he’s not into her because he’s gay” cop out. He’s just not into her. I love their relationship.
@@jooj3699 Its so funny because the guy that played Carter was the gay best friend in Easy A
Okay so maybe I’m an absolute dumb dumb stupid head or maybe there are other people out there who’ve also not seen this movie since they were like 12;but I’m just now realizing when Rizzo said “it’s basically the boy who cried wolf” that their names are Jason Shepherd and Marty Wolf and the story’s about a kid who lies all the time and when he’s finally telling the truth about a racist wolf with psycho rage (from childhood probably) no one believes him til it’s almost too late.. 😶🙂 so maybe I’m dumb 🤷🏻♀️ lol but also my childhood just came in like that fake flash flood Lool 😂😂
HOLY SHIT! HOW DID WE NOT REALIZE THAT!?!?!?!
@@PinkPopcast OK OMG SO ITS NOT JUST ME!😂😅 lol I had to go back like 20 minutes because after you said that I couldn’t focus on anything other than that thought 😂 we’re all in this together I suppose 😜
Lol just realized that too 😂😂😂
Oof! I'm 30 and I didn't even realize that until now!! 😮😂❤
I remember Sandra Oh in ‘The Princess Diaries’ and ‘Mr. Bean: The Movie’. The former is a cool performance and the latter is one of her underrated performances and low-key amazing satire.
Honestly I fully believe everyone in that final scam did all this for free because it was worth it👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Not sure if the prop warehouses exist like that anymore, but I can tell you that they very much were a thing in the early 00s. I got to go on a VIP tour of Universal's back lot for my birthday one year. We walked into one of those warehouses and it was amazing! Each prop had a tag for where it was being used. A lot of CSI tags at the time. Lol It was around the time that this movie was already out and I was so excited that part was true. Definitely one of the coolest experiences I've had.
Why wouldn’t they still have prop houses? They still need props
Speaking of Amanda Bynes, can you guys react to her movie “What a Girl Wants”. 😩
yessss, i think about that receptionist and the acting choices she made every day. Especially when I park my car on a dog in the parking lot.
This was the first movie I ever heard Hungry like the Wolf in, and now it's one of my go-to karaoke and feel-good songs.
The costume section in the prop warehouse is actually pretty damn accurate! In regards to the dye, swim trunks are usually nylon or another synthetic fiber so unless they were using a special dye for it the blue would only stick to natural fiber, and skin definitely qualifies.
This movie is a pure masterpiece and formed my childhood. That being said, there is a horrible, awful remake called "Bigger Fatter Liar", where instead of a movie script it's a video game and instead of relatively harmless pranks, the kids mess with his sleeping pills and bleach his face. I need someone else to see it so they can hate it as much as I do!
-I still don’t know how to do it. - WHat? Sticking on a wall? -No, call forwarding
Paul Giamatti is 1 of the best actors of our time. This film was the 1st time I saw him & KNEW to hate him.
OMG! I'm so glad ya'll reacted to this movie. There's something about the style of 2000s movies that are completely unmatched today. Almost every movie today seems like it's too serious and edgy.
I love this movie. It's like a Hollywood version of Home Alone
Haha yes!!
Also, I mentioned this on your A Walk to Remember video, but a reaction of the movie Saved! From you both would be hysterical! Fingers crossed you guys do a reaction in the near future. 😉
I had such a seratonin boost watching this reaction, I loved this movie as a kid! I even remember the trailers would always have the “little blue man” line as their big punchline haha
You guys should do a reaction to “The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window”!!!! I think that would be hilarious! 😊
22:20 It's a birthday party full of 11 year olds, kids at that age hate everyone and are constantly angry. It's when puberty is at it's most chaotic.
Honestly people don't speak enough about the Amanda Show
Right!?
Paul Giamatti is essentially the movie equivalent of Scott Rudin.
Yup Benji that's exactly how costume clothes are organized at least for theater. Type and size on these giant racks then there's those crazy ladders to get to them. The arm strength it takes to get like 4 jackets T.T
I watch this movie at least a hundred times as a kid, and I'm so glad that it has held the test of time for us 😂😂 you guys quoting the movie as it happens always makes me laugh!
You guys really pulled some memories out of the vault with this one!
Oooh It has BEEN AGES SINCE IVE SEEN Big Fat Liar
Marty's level of blueness is constantly changing, less blue, more blue, smudgy blue, did no one notice this during filming?
ive never known anyone else who knows this movie word for word like i do until now and i LIVEEEEE! i love you guys so much for this.
I met Frankie Munez today at my job! I work at Costco and him, his wife and son came into my line to check out. He was super nice but got frustrated because his wife took his card and left it at home so he had to go home and get it. He came back and I brought his cart back, it shocked him and he said ouch in a joking way. He was really cool overall I didnt bother him with a picture or an autograph because he was busy and a little frustrated lol
Omg that’s so cool! Love to know that he’s nice 🥰
@@PinkPopcast he's an ANGEL, he looks the same as he did in this movie with a beard now, the craziest thing was while I was getting ready for work yesterday I was watching this video about his movie and he came in. Like that gives me chills. I love you both so much, you have helped me through my alcoholism and depression. If he comes in again ( which he does once a week) I'll tell you guys!
That film still holds up twenty one years later!
I can’t believe I forgot about this show. I loved this show so much as a kid. I would watch it back to back for hours a day, going over the lines 😂
Movie.
@@sadisticwinter8354 same shit
@@pamelawilliams3144 They aren't synonyms, sweetie.
You guys DON’T have the RIGHT to be THIS hilarious!!! STOP IT!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣💙💙💙
I loved this movie as a kid! And thanks to this movie, to this day when I think of Paul Giamotti I think about his eyebrow raise when he read's the paper
Have you guys reacted to Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen? I would love to see your reactions to it!
His eyebrows are insane haha
And I think we should definitely do confessions at some point!
I loved Big Fat Liar!! Really anything with Frankie Muniz! 🥰🥰
Well the Dan Schneider joke at the end CERTAINLY aged well 😬😬 yeesh
This was my favorite Frankie Muniz movie. It was also the only one I love, agent Cody banks was Fine I guess. Also liked Clockstoppers a lot. For tween action movies of the era.
"Eat my bloomers, blue boy!" haha
SHUT UP!!! What an amazingly unexpected nostalgic ride down memory lane. Used to be OBSESSED with this movie as a kid. Both of you being so nuts about it that you remember the lines and geek out about it together is on a whole other level 🤣🤣🥰
I was on Slime Time Live when Amanda and Frankie were promoting this movie and I got to meet Amanda! She was super nice
OH MY COWWW I LOVED THIS MOVIE AS A KID.
The blue pool dye part IS SO ICONIC 🙌🏼⚡️⚡️⚡️
at 35:45 I came up with an alternative scene that started off as an intrusive thought, but when Marty chases off Frankie from the roof, he actually "misses" the airbag on the ground, it looks like Marty pushed him off, he is charged with first-degree child-murder, is being hooked up to the electric chair while crying and blubbering about how he didn't push him and for about being killed in a minute...and after he is all hooked up and ready to be killed, the executioner with his hand on the switch pulls his hood off and is revealed to be Shepard who locks eyes with Marty who is now without words and is then fried. screen goes black.
this intrusive thought has stayed with me for years and I always re-watched this movie so many times as a kid and is the reason I love Hungry Like the Wolf & I'm Blue.
After Rizzo said he was 12 when this film came out I had to see what films were on when I was about 12: Home Alone, Kindergarten Cop, Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead, My Girl, The Addams Family, Curly Sue, Hook, MERMAIDS, Three Men And A Little lady,City Slickers, Drop Dead Fred, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, The Father of the Bride, Fried Green Tomatoes, The Rocketeer, The Fisher King, Dead Again,
There are some decent films there and yes, I am very old!
Some really good ones! Dead Again is so underrated.
MARTY WOLF PICTURES PLEASE HOLD
*thats so raven like vision back to 2003*
😂😂😂
Rizzo growing out his hair is something I didn't know I needed to see. But I like it ;)..... hey Rizzo (blushing wacky face emoji). I love you too benji (bows down).
I was seriously just like Rizzo. Watched this VHS religiously lol
Speaking of Amanda Bynes please react/comment on Hairspray
I still say to people “you’re lying through your teeth you little demon.”
It’s such a great line!
Before the film started I forgot that this one exist and thought it was the early 2000 movie about a white middle aged liar starting Jim Carrey
Liar Liar is great
Paul Giamatti has done so much work. But this is imprinted on my brain as what pops in my head when I hear his name. And specifically when he's blue dabu de dabu di dabu de dabu di💙🩵💙🩵
Whenever I'm down, you two make me laugh and laugh and laugh. Thank you ❤
🥰🥰
I'm ready for Amanda Bynes' comeback. READY!
Dang~~~ This was a trip back in time; I never owned this, but it was a frequent VHS rental^.^ Sidenote: my recommended section on this video is also a trip, cause I see not just Agent Cody Banks but also The Beautician and the Beast (which I'm totally going to take the opportunity to also reacquaint myself with, cause Fran Drescher is a queen; this movie and The Nanny were staples of my childhood~)^.^
I mean clearly the bully didn’t have a loving home life (hence the bullying) so it makes sense he would bond with grandma
Again you guys are awesome, and now you've sent me on an Amanda Bynes Binge. I hope you all are happy!!!! Lol. Ohhh Rizzo about your crush on Amanda Bynes, you must have loved her in "She's the Man."
Omg this was amazing! Yall always coming through with the good ass content, had a rough weekend and this put a smile on my face :) thanks yall for being yall!
The pink gorilla costumes were in batman & Robin (1997)
best part of me watching this is that my name is kaylee
Giamatti deserves an Oscar for this
the fuck?! That's literally the first time I've heard about this movie. I feel like I've been living under a rock. 🙈🙈
🪨
Benny and I watched this on his projector once! Patience ate his Chipotle burrito when he wasn't looking so he had Doritos for dinner instead. Good times 😂I love this movie! ♥
Here for reactions to films of my youth, yall always make me laugh.
This thumbnail is too good
Haha we definitely had fun with it 😂
Paul Giamatti went from this to Downton Abbey (briefly).
What a god.
First thing I saw John Cho in was CHARMED when he played the ghost that Piper feel in love with.
I bought this movie on DVD like 3 years ago bc I loved it so much as a kid & I haven't opened it yet lol I will be watching it later today bc of this video so thank you for that! 😊
If a 00s kids movie didn't have smash mouth in their soundtrack, was it really a 00s kids movie? 💁🏻♀
You guys.. you guys.. lol just so much fun watching u!
Amanda Byrnes was 14 in this movie
You guys again do not disappoint. I fucking love this movie
You HAVE to do Agent Cody Banks next!
I watched this as a kid and I remember thinking Frankie and Amanda were old.
😂
I had a major crush on both Frankie Munez and Amanda.
Realizing they sent him to the guys daughter's friend, birthday party lol
This was so funny!! You guys should watch Bowfinger or Tropic Thunder 2 great send ups of Hollywood culture.
Benji was right!!! Wolf did call it Biffle lol
Please do the sequel
Nobody wears an ill-fitting shirt like Paul Giamatti 🥰
11:53 After seeing that picture of Eddie Murphy and Michael Myers in their full Nutty Professor and Grinch costumes because they were filming at the same time, it's not all that far fetched to me.
This movie is no masterpiece but it's a lot more competent than what it should have been. The cast was strong in this especially Paul Giammati.
Literally my favorite ppl
I learned to play the song blue on the keyboard because of this movie, no rAgrets
Sooooo I went on the tour too.
I wish that was on the tour too guys 🤣🙃
😂😂
Who then would’ve thunk it that taran killam would marry Cobie smulders and become a comedian on snl
Wow, did not know that!
Someone played the add for Baz Lurhmann's upcoming 'Elvis' movie on this video. Would you consider watching Baz Lurhmann's 5 other movies on this channel, meaning all three of his 'Red Curtain Trilogy', 'Australia' and 'The Great Gatsby'?
You have to watch the wiz 1978 next
I heard that in a recent interview with shawn levy he said that he has been dreaming of making a sequel to this with the story being a marty wolf revenge story so i really hope he gets to do that and if he did would you watch it?
😂😂I think we’d have to!
i had a huge crush on frankie muniz during his prime like 8 year old me was obsessed lol
23:00,still don't know wtf that song says, but it's a vibe😅😅😅🎶, BTW, Benji's hot😳.Rizzo got moves🔥🔥🔥
How was this posted two days ago and it hasn't popped up on my recommended once YT hates me-
I really like your channel, you guys seem to be some really charming lads!
U guys should react to Agent Cody Banks

Chow was in charmed
I think y'all should watch euphoriaaaaa
i remember watching this for the first time and just being like 😟
Oh no Rizzo shaved his face. I loved the beard but still handsome 🥰
@39:34 Yes. Harley Quinn.
