I remembered reading about how Jack Dempsey beat the crap out of him during a unscheduled sparring match in 1931.
Thank god Hairpieces are are better today
It was way more fun for me when they were really bad. I can still usually spot one that others can’t. For instance, Fredo Cuomo wears one.
Amazing! Galento had 112 fights and must have been in his 60's here and he hasn't one gray hair!
It's a toupee but still, he has his faculties.
MrEvrenium Toupee.
Couple real pros! 🥊🥊
Funny. Louis and Galento look like they could be related LMFAO
Nice rug, Tony!
Galento the only fighter i know who's in better shape as a o.a.p then he was when he fought.
Galento grew more hair after the fight ! I need to go out & get my azz kicked more often
Galento was surprisingly light on his feet and had a quick left hook. He struck like a cobra.
look, ya can have it his way or our way but ya can`t have it both ways ....aint i right Truck? "definitely".
galentos a amazing guy and tremendous fighter could beat anyone, just ask him.
Well he couldn't beat J Louis.
Don't be stupid. I respect Galento, he was a warrior but he was a decent fighter at best.
Well said. Galento was a hero in his own mind.
Toupee or not toupee; that is the question...
are 2 extraordinary boxers, joe was a true champion, galento was galento..but in the end the lives of the boxers always end up the same
Two ton Tony with the wig on
They once asked Tony what he thought of Shakespeare.. His reply... A British heavyweight... I'll moider the bum.... Legend.
I have my own fight plan I'm the one getting hit. Words of wisdom .
Art Donovan's Dad was the referee.
The wig on Galento's head is something else. Still he came close-ish to winning the greatest title in sport the Heavyweight Boxing Champion of the world.
I thought Galento look rather dashing in that wig! Bet he picked up a lot of girls with it!....Lol
No he didn't really come that close,The knock down he scored was basically a flash knock down Lewis is right up and proceeded to beat the hell out of him in the next round and a half
Louis was on his ass! also galento trained for this fight to knock with a single punch that was his mistake ! if galento would have prepared different Louis would have lost him Joe Louis was lucky
the rapist creature
Yeah , your right. Joe Louis was lucky. Lucky he didn't kill Galento! Because back in those days who knows what would have happened if he did kill him, He might have been charged with murder just so they could get the title back and keep it lily white again!
Galento almost killed Louis a prime louis galento and older than him! Marciano would make Louis his little bitch
What year was this TV show filmed in? 🎥
Galento came out swinging and landed a few good first round shots but he took a couple in the second that slowed him down from there on. Two Ton Tony didn't have the conditioning to go the distance with a champion.
sum jacket tony
Two ton had great handspeed shades of Ruiz.
Outside of his overhand and leap left hook, dude was slow was molasses. Ruiz has much quicker hands.
I still have trouble understanding how Galento got a shot at Joe. I know he won 7 straight before Joe but again I say How? He head butts, he holds and hits with elbow and after 80 years nobody says boo!
He punched like a mule kicking you that's how he won.
@@mbsnyderc Thankyou!
People talk how great Louis was. He was knocked down or out in several of his fights...not even in top 30 heavyweights
DJK 2816 he went 8 years without getting knocked down 🤣 🤡 and most were flash knockdowns
@Willie Pep willie pep my ass. I don't know which Joe Louis you're talking about? 🤔 🤡 x 1000. How much time u spend in the ring? I'm sure u never been knocked down..rite.....dildo
@@williepep-fy7qm yeah....poop...I mean pep!!! Schmelling??? Marciano???
Obviously DJK...you have NO idea what you are even talking about.
@@BrotherPatriot 🤣 😂 🤣 at the 🤡 u are
For a minute I thought it was moe Howard from the three stooges.
Galento had a nice hair piece.
What year was this aired?
Don Dunphy was the best. Very skilled. Galento was a glutton. If he were 20 lbs lighter, he would have done much better.
