Thanks Casey, so I’m working up a plan for a 2 day 1 night rafting / gold prospecting trip on the American River.. Raft in stay the night hunt for gold most of the day , gold panning or running a sluice box then raft out later in the day 10-12 people on this adventure so ask him if he would be interested? I took Randy and a couple of his friends last year for a overnight camping trip on the river looking for gold and it was fun.
Thanks man I’m on a mission to prove to myself that this place has big gold, but you know how that goes those old timers probably already got it all :)
That is a MIA/POW Band. I had one from my time in the USAF in the late 80s. Mine memorialized a missing Pilot who went missing over Loas. It was Aluminum.
Very awesome, you are correct it is aluminum , I will be putting out a follow up video about the bracelet soon, and since you are a service man and I thank you for your service , this gentleman was a sergeant in army who was killed in action in Afghanistan and the bracelet was lost but now it’s found and soon to be back home again!
@@mitchellmadness5589 thank you sir. And for taking care of it. The proceeds for the purchase went to one of the veterans organizations to help bring them back home. I’m sure the owner of it was also a veteran.
Anytime you find aluminum (bracelet) on the river your not going to find much gold… Those tiny flakes are the heaviest gold to follow the original flood line since the gold rush days … The concept is true of the old river path … but the fact is the old timers mined every square foot in that area and those boulders were all flood washed into the area years later .. Good luck Love the winch . Need one of those lol Keep up the great videos
@@GramCanyonSam we have coke along way in the gold fields since the early days hahah Hopefully we get to prospect this year together I have big things going on I got a new number I’ll text ya

Hi diggen I hope it pays off also, I no this area was worked hard during the gold rush and then again in the 1920’s . I’m just hoping that they didn’t move these rocks:)
Very interesting video thanks. I totally love the winch- I'd love to know how it's powered? (oh, and how much it weights roughly? as I have a long hike in to my places) Thanks
Howdy 1000000trs thanks for watching, if you go to my video titled Boulder Town. It explains a little bit more about the winch. I’ll tell you it’s not lightweight.
I have sluiced on the Eldorado county side on the volcano gravel bar, the American gravel bar, and the Comanche gravel bar right below ruckachucky camp ground, very good locations, great gold .
