THANK YOU FOR ALL THE INFO VERY HELPFUL. GOOD VIDEO JOB TO . GOOD EXPLANATION. I PROBABLY GO WITH THIS ONE . MY FAVORITE ARE ... THE BUSH COMPANY 270 AWNING... BUT TO MUTCH EXPENSIVE FOR ME... THIS ONE 23ZERO LOOK VERY GOOD FOR THE COST.
Excellent overview. Calm, methodical day, detailed. Will be checking out your other video’s. Disappointed that the awning does not close the gap over the tailgate. Possibly pull tighter to stretch the material.
For the price of this awning, you can be assured that I performed a great deal of research which included other UA-cam video’s, the manufacturer’s videos on their website and the recommendation from the folks at Nuthouse Industries who sold me the bedrack and coiling cover. One of my main goals in producing my videos is to give my viewers a true and honest assessment and in this case, I mention just one concern about this awning. Not one instance in my research did anyone else even mentions that the 270 degree awning is just a bit shy of 270 degrees (perhaps 260 degrees) and may not completely cover the back of a truck bed. The video shows the bad point and the overwhelming number of good points.
Moving your awning more forward about half a foot so than the rear than comes flush, closer to the back of your rear rack so you get the coverage you want.
I put the maker and the model in the description. I purchased it full price from a dealer, namely Nuthouse Industries which is the same company that made my Bedrack. Best to you.
Not tight enough at the back and the shape of the car t the front is why there is a gap.. also not tight enough at the front. All the gear and no idea..
Thanks for the video. Great job. I like the look of this one because it won't run into an upper tailgate like many. How do you feel the rear coverage is since it isn't squared off in the back?
Ideally, if I could slide the awning forward a bit it would work perfect but I can’t because the brace that connects the awning to the bedrack is in the way. However, now with my roof top tent, it isn’t a problem since the RTT shields the weather nicely.
Seems to me an offset bracket going towards the front you wouldn't have the gap, thanks for sharing.
It’s refreshing to see a “real time” setup and tear down video, and not time-lapse. This was very thorough and helpful. Thank you.

Its a universal fit unit not especially made to fit your vehicle but its very good product.
3 years have passed. The side walls have awning doors and screens.
Thanks!
Reevaluate after you put on the 23 zero tent. perhaps the gap in the back problem will be solved.
Definitely didn't to research before buying this one seems like there's a lot of things you don't like maybe you should return it Should just DIY

Loved the video! We have a two door wrangler and have a similar one in mind. I
big awning
Only thing that would suck is if you had drive off quickly in an emergency.

Can you put the link for this awning in the description?

The joint in the rear does not extend to 90 degrees. So, it will never reach a full 270 degrees.
