as a TFT newbie, I spent the last week watching guides and trying to wrap my head around the game's mechanics. I tried playing sorcs a few times on my own at first, and failed miserably. Then I saw this video and to my surprise, it was specifically about sorcs! This breakdown is perfection. You explained the priorities of the comp such that I understood exactly what to do at every stage of a match. Once you said that other comps peak at stage 3, I no longer panic rolled on those stages and kept my cool until stage 4 where this comp absolutely brutalizes everything else. In my first game trying this strategy properly, I went on a 10 win streak in stage 4, winning every round with 8 units left and ending with 150 gold left lol. Multiple top 1s back to back made me confident enough to try it in ranked and sure enough, domination. Thank you for this guide and hope to see more!!
I loved your Samira's guide, and this one is just as good, perfectly explained. I just tried this Taric comp and I easily managed a top 4 only with 2* units.
and i barely went 5th with taric 3* + everything 2 star besides ahri + everything BIS like shown in this guide and guess what: 2 multicaster players placed above me

I'm very impatient and usually watch a few minutes and go "I can do this" but your explanations and scenario's were really well thought out & explained. Floating between GM and Challenger at the moment and struggling to climb consistently, hopefully I can take my 3 pages of notes all the way to challenger. Thanks for your hard work!

EDIT 02 (10/25/23): The build is much worse in higher elo right now, where it's averaging around a 4.7. For perspective, it was closer to 4.3 in Masters+ last patch and 4.4 in GM. The hit in lower elo is noticeable, averaging around a 4.4 when it was about a 4 last patch. That said, I wouldn't put it in the "dead" category. It's still viable, but I would be less keen to 1-trick it. Maybe once other people realize that and it's less contested, it can go back to viable. EDIT (10/24/23): This Taric build will die as of patch 13.21, which will be out in the next 24 hours. My confidence on this is relatively high, even though it is just speculation. Taric AND Gargoyle are both getting massive nerfs,. Either one would have been enough to kill the comp from the meta, but both together should make it nearly unplayable. 3 rounds played forcing this comp, 3 times 1st place. Dominating void, multicasters and noxus slayer comps. Absolutely disgustingly strong comp. Also so nice and easy to transition to mid/lategame because this item comp is so strong on other early game comps like iona/vanquisher, invoker, multicaster. Absolutely incredibly good strat!!
Thank you for sharing this build. You were a godsend! I just played 3 games right before writing this comment, and I gotta say, this comp is LIT!! I'd been tired of playing 4 meta comps (TF Reroll, Noxus Morde, Nilah, Jayce) and wanted to play something new. And this comp fixed that for me. It's fun and flexible in early games. You can play everything you want: Invoker, Noxus, Damacia, Sharima, Bastion, Voids, Sorcs, etc. And it's OP in the late game, nobody contests, and it's easy to pull off. You don't need crazy 3* units to be in the Top 4, but if you do 3* any of the main units, You're definitely in the Top 2. There's only one comp that can win this: Gunners/Rouges. In my second game, I did all the tricks you said, but I got second place against them.
Your Samira guide got me from zero to Diamond in a week. Hoping this one can get me to Master. Your content is incredible, these are the best guides I've ever seen for TFT, thank you so much!

Great guide, ive been farming ladder for a few days now. FYI Ive had great success with gold collector as a 3rd item on silco. 12% aoe execution is no joke
this is awesome, really works and used it in low masters, 4 games, averaging 3.2 , also able to beat out fully 3 starred multicaster , this is an insane comp
these guides are just so nicely done with such good attention to detail and perfection. congrats man! only tiny thing i would say to improve it, if thats even posible, is putting markers on the video's progress bar, simply to help differenciate where every part of the video is (comp members, item prio, early game, mid game, late game, etc) because if i happen to find a good opener with pandora's in my next few games i would love to instantly come back here while i'm playing my game and use the video to remember how to optimally play it. that would be great! congrats again!!
There are chapters (markers in video progress bar), but UA-cam is annoying and sometimes doesn't show them. They haven't worked for the past 24 hours despite the video having them for the first 24 hours. They should come back eventually, but I have no idea why UA-cam stops showing them randomly. Appreciate your kind comments! EDIT: You can go into the description and click the time-stamps there to get to different parts of the video. Those time-stamps in the description are supposed to be the chapters, but yeah ... UA-cam is UA-cam.

Just got 1st place trying this in a normal. I think that it pairs well with yuumi zoom zone because you can get fast 9 if you're win streaking and thanks to how broken taric + gargoyle is, i managed to make it work. I also got really lucky by getting Ahri instead of Silco during the 4-1 rolldown, so all my items moved into that.

The guide is helpful. I thought I understood the comp, but missed some things. I just tried it after watching this and came in third. Didn't position for the Xayah as you mentioned, live and learn.
This guide is amazing, im low elo (typically finish diamond most seasons), and this was really amazing flexibility on handling the different scenarios!! This video was so good I liked and subscribed. I even followed you on Twitch. Also you carry yourself with calm, which is rare at high elo TFT. I mean seriously. S Tier UA-cam here.
The only counter I use that can constantly win against this build is a 6-invoker team with a Gunblade/Seraph plus either Morello or Jewel Gauntlet 3-star Karma as main, which can be easy to pull since it's not the most popular build right now. It destroys Silco in the backlane with others since this build has a compact positioning. But then again, 6 invokers is hard to use against other builds, like a strong Demacia/Morde setup which destroys the frontline easily before Karma manages to charge up enough AP. A strong 7-Bilgewater/Bilge-Strategist setup also works wonders on this since MF basically nerfs the barrier.

Got from d1 0 LP to masters in 9 games. Averaged 3.2 Only went 5th and 6th when i just didnt hit for example i had silco 1 until the end of the game. Actually insane and uncontested comp
just used this to go from p4 to d4 in around 4/5 hours and I have only been playing for a week. Seems very strong and I wasnt contested until the last 2 games
Played a few games and here are some thoughts: Really strong, even contested as long as you follow the guide. 6 games in, ave placement 2.5 got back up to Plat 2
First try of this Comp was rough, but my RNG was so bad. Took me until 32HP to find my 2star Silco etc rolling at 7, but it got me a 3rd and I can tell with slightly more luck this would gain consistently !

Since watching this guide I've been contested for this comp in every game I've played today (for the record it was only 3 games and only one other person was running it in each game). Looks like you made an impression on those who want to climb! For reference my games were in Diamond II. Despite being contested, we were both able to make it pretty far as Taric 2 is tanky AF with double gargoyle's and QSS. One game I didn't make top 4 as I couldn't find a Silco 2 (even the other guy that game had Silco 1 but had better matchups at the end so they made top 4) so rolling down at 7 to find Silco 2 is, as you said, really important before moving on to lv8.
Not a god tier player or the highest rank but been trying out lots of metas this season and had great fun, but never have I ever had a game where I won every single fight and finished first especially when at the highest ive been ranked at G 1. 3 Time one tricking it, no damage taken, first place at G1, all thanks to this guide!
amazing guide. in regards to items. if u blue buff vel coz for early and hit silco later on. is it best to just stick with vel coz blue buff or sell it and replace with a 1 star to move items to silco

at 4-1 I had everything good, taric 2 with full items, silco 1 with blue buff and hextech gunblade, shen 2, all other units 2, shen with sorc emblem. I had 40 hp and I lost all fights anyway , nice 8 place by this guide
At 15:54 , you said if we don't have a 2-star bluebuff carry by 3-2 we need to level to 6 and roll for one. If we already have an upgraded carry, do we also normally level to 6 at 3-2?
Yes, almost always level 6 on 3-2. Very rare exception is if you are BOTH poor (leveling puts you below 30g) and if leveling doesn't make you much stronger , but you're probably going bot-4 if both of those conditions are true anyway since you are playing from behind.
Till the patch comes out, this still loses to full 3* multicasters. I've had this board 3* several times with the exception of shen/silco and it still lost to level 7 boards made up for 3* multicasters, no matter the alternate positions, including some I made to avoid velkoz/Tf aoe. I also feel that 8 sorcs is weaker than the targon/invoker and if you go 9 adding another targon will make a huge difference, more than 8 sorcs.
tried this comp in 3 games, if you are the only one using it its free game for you, but if another one is playing it, its more difficult to top. Results: 2-7-1 Elo: Diamond good guide and good comp!

I usually boycott TF legend, but I really like sorcs and just tanked my LP so decides to give it a try. I hit 3* silco and taric at 5-5 because no one else is playing sorcs and got a top 1 so I'm going to spam this. Great guide, very indepth, definitely subbing.

Just gave it a try and nabbed a first! Taric tanking 35-50k dmg a fight is pretty nutty.
More and more have read it I guess, never seen it before and today I´ve seen it a lot.

Not a god tier player or the highest rank but been trying out lots of metas this season and had great fun, but never have I ever had a game where I won every single fight and finished first especially when at the highest ive been ranked at G 1. 3 Time one tricking it, no damage taken, first place at G1, all thanks to this guide!

amazing guide. in regards to items. if u blue buff vel coz for early and hit silco later on. is it best to just stick with vel coz blue buff or sell it and replace with a 1 star to move items to silco

at 4-1 I had everything good, taric 2 with full items, silco 1 with blue buff and hextech gunblade, shen 2, all other units 2, shen with sorc emblem. I had 40 hp and I lost all fights anyway , nice 8 place by this guide
Oh so this is where the guy I just faced found this comp. Taric tanking 38k damage a fight and never dying. Fun and interactive to play against.

At 15:54 , you said if we don't have a 2-star bluebuff carry by 3-2 we need to level to 6 and roll for one. If we already have an upgraded carry, do we also normally level to 6 at 3-2?
Yes, almost always level 6 on 3-2. Very rare exception is if you are BOTH poor (leveling puts you below 30g) and if leveling doesn't make you much stronger , but you're probably going bot-4 if both of those conditions are true anyway since you are playing from behind.

Till the patch comes out, this still loses to full 3* multicasters. I've had this board 3* several times with the exception of shen/silco and it still lost to level 7 boards made up for 3* multicasters, no matter the alternate positions, including some I made to avoid velkoz/Tf aoe. I also feel that 8 sorcs is weaker than the targon/invoker and if you go 9 adding another targon will make a huge difference, more than 8 sorcs.

tried this comp in 3 games, if you are the only one using it its free game for you, but if another one is playing it, its more difficult to top. Results: 2-7-1 Elo: Diamond

I usually boycott TF legend, but I really like sorcs and just tanked my LP so decides to give it a try.
I hit 3* silco and taric at 5-5 because no one else is playing sorcs and got a top 1 so I'm going to spam this. Great guide, very indepth, definitely subbing.
