MOST CAMARO FANS DON'T KNOW THIS HISTORY but this is exactly what Camaros were meant to be...a girls car. Chevrolet wanted a muscle car aimed at the female market. So the Chevy design & engineering team created a slightly smaller car, with feminine looks & torque so low, any girls forearms could handle the steering wheel. In 1967 the Chevy Camaro was born & was an instant hit with the female market. Even with most men turning to the bigger, faster, better looking torque monsters from the Chrysler corporation, Chevrolet considered it a success. They also still had their Nova & Chevelle lineup geared toward men waiting to transition to becoming females. This left GMs divisions of Pontiac, Oldsmobile & Buick to produce cars to battle it out with Chryslers offerings. This a true story & I know this as fact. My father Bruce Hampton or actually as of 1971 legally becoming known as "Brenda" Hamilton, was part of Chevys lead design team.
Great back end, under carriage looks amazing, wheels looks perfect not to mention the big head lights! Now that’s a 69 I’d never get tied of having my face in that engine and making it purrrr!
Hasn't run in 24 years? No problem! - Install a new, or known good 12V battery. - Change engine oil & replace oil filter. Do it BEFORE you even crank it over. Some good ole cheap SAE10W-30 oil will do the trick. - Make sure radiator has coolant in it. If not, add green 50% mix to radiator, until full. - Connect a remote fuel can to carburetor, and hang the can from the hood. Use the remote fuel source until you remove fuel tank and get rid of bad fuel & varnish from it, or just replace the fuel tank altogether, if it's at all sketchy. - Clean out/purge (or replace, if needed) all fuel lines & replace fuel filter. - If car has an automatic transmission, make sure it has fluid in it. Without engine running, as long as there's fluid on the trans dipstick, you're good. - Turn key, & fire it up. If she doesn't run, check out ignition system for spark. Old vehicles are awesome & are super easy to revive! The key is to do smart things (think first) & don't be impatient. You'll save time, money, & unnecessary headaches in the long run. 💪😎✌
I'll add that before starting the engine you should try and rotate the crankshaft to make sure it (and the pistons) are not frozen. Use a socket with an extension bar, rotate it a few full rotations to make sure no noticeable 'hang-ups' can be felt. Nice car, lovely lady!
Don't change the engine if it's a 351or 302 Cleveland. That's the small block powerhouse of an engine for the Mustang brand very hard to find or own!!!

All you used to need to bag a babe like this back in the day was a nice sports car, a decent job, a good sense of humor and some game. These days, well good luck.
@@spiegeltn Honestly these days it's no different in fact it's easier. Literally all you need is the sports car, skip all the other stuff, just pull up next to them and be like "want a ride?" and they're like "sure!" and will hop right in... On a serious note, just being not afraid to put yourself out there and forgetting the mindset of "she's a 10 so there's no way she's single" or "she's way out of my league" is the biggest step in the right direction and this way you'll probably get at least 1 out of every 10 that you ask. I bought a 68 Mustang long ago. Someone had started to restore it, but hadn't gotten very far. I redid most of the car. Brakes, front end, bumpers, emblems, headliner, carpet. Parts are readily available cheap from places like Pony Coral and other places. The one I did was really nice, but someone rear ended me before I finished it. I got paid twice what I had in the car from the insurance company and still kept the car and parted out what was left.
