@@drdremd You don't, its automatic. Either works or doesn't. On earlier Model S (pre 2014, non continental sensor), you have to copy the old sensor IDs to the new set. If you can't because sensor is no longer readable to the tool, none (including tesla) can make it work. Actually, tesla replaces the in car sensor set for a continental compatible for about $1000. If your car is newer with the continental compatible sensors (displayed actual pressure) the car will learn a new set after driving some 25+kms.
@@tamasstrezi hello. I have bought new sensors for our Tesla Model S 2014/4, and they should be plug and play.. But even after reseting the tpms, IT didn't work. The tpms that were on my wheels were branded ITM. Is that OEM? What Can I do?
@@splatjmf If the sensor reset(reintroduced) did not fix this, you can only turn to tesla to replace the sensors in the car to Continental compatible, which can re-learn Conti compatible wheel sensors. However if you actually managed to buy old OEM sensors, those have hard coded IDs(4 per car), which can only be copied from your previously working set with 433Mhz readers at your tyre shop...
How do you get those gauges?
I’ve done exactly what you did Mine will not clear or reset
whats with the tow mode option on the screen?
THX! Works sommelier with model 3
The "reset sensors" is gone on my 2019.32.1 software version. Any idea how to do this now?
@@maxcruz It is no longer available using the procedure you have here thanks to a software update.
Did you really video this while driving?
you have to drive a while in order for it to reset
No longer relevant, option removed from V10 software months ago!
Tamas Strezi so how do we do the same now?

TPMS sensor reset has been re-added to UI in late 2020.
