Love this man. He wrote the forward to my first book called, "Pursuing the Best." When I asked him how to be a great youth pastor he said, "Love your wife." I've done it for 30 years!
Dear Sean, Josh and Scott, I thoroughly enjoyed this. Such important topics were covered. The conversation was depthful and insightful. I appreciate you all as a resource for sound apologetics and deeper thinking in my Christian walk. May God continue to bless you and use you for His glory!🙏😊 Pr. 2:6
Sean, your Dad has really helped me. Josh if you're reading this, I watched your testimony again a few months ago, and your series on how to reconcile relationships you did ages ago. You have gone through so much pain and I'm so sorry for that. But praise God what man ment for evil God has used for good. You and God must have done so much work on yourself it's an inspiration to me. And I know Sean is a scholar and minister in his own right, but I see your kindness and love in him and it gives me hope for my kids.
Hi Josh I want to let you know what happened from when I wrote to you many years ago about a dream I had when I was holding up one of your books and was spruking about it. You sent me a lot of your material. I spent 2 years in shopping centres around the Gold Coast and Brisbane Australia. Then started working with the converts and continued with outreaches for 20 years, working also with relationship seminars, with my late husband. We worked with over 400 couples, most new converts. I designed a competency based Bible College and we raised up leaders who are now serving God in different churches across the Gold Coast. Also business leaders on the coast. Kenn and I worked in pioneering a Christian radio station and also a secular one. We always handed over works we pioneered when moving on. I wanted to say Thank you for giving me that start and believing the dream. It was a God dream. I also took one of your books into a prison visit. The man I gave it to became saved and then became a preacher of the gospel as well. So thank You sir for sowing into Australia.
Wow Sean, the way your dad talked about your mom just put tears in my eyes. So genuine and beautiful. God has certainly blessed you with great parents!
I took a class Josh taught on how to study the Bible (using John's gospel) - at Arrowhead Springs in the early 1970s. His suggestions are as fresh in my Bible study now as they were then. Thank you, Josh, for remaining faithful to the Gospel - your wife - and your thousands of students!
Sean, your blog is a godly and textbook example for talking and "debating" challenging questions - always with charity for everyone involved. I also love the variety of topics...from LGBT proponents to Biblical archaeology. Thank you so very much for the thought and work you put into the show. I try to catch all of them. Hope all of your audience members will subscribe.
People without objective truth are unhappy and anxious. I am hoping that due to the amount of information we have now, we will get past our inability to have healthy debate and come back to the evidence for God and objective truth.
Sean, I remember hearing your dad speak at a Campus Crusade event at San Diego State. He told us that he had recently met a girl that he wanted to marry. He was telling us about your mom. Hard to believe it was that long ago.
When we talk about "the church", are we talking about the many American churches or Christ's universal world-wide church where there are many differences in other countries?
How can suffering people who have been diagnosed with an illness which will be terminal have access to medicine and good care by a private healthcare they can’t afford to pay for?
Dear Mr. Josh McDowell, At the beginning of this interview, you said that your #1 event in your life was the Why Wait? campaign and your 2nd most important event was when you married your wife. Yet further along in the interview, you said that your marriage comes before all other ministry because your marriage is your first ministry. How do you reconcile these two seemingly contradictory ideas in your life?
His response at the beginning about Why Wait and then his marriage was not in order of importance. I asked him about ministry highlights, so he started there.

This is a glorious testimony! ⭐ Thank you.
Sound wisdom!

This one knocked it out of the ballpark. Thanks to everyone!

Thx for your story!
Love listening to your dialogue. Great job guys!
Josh McDowell’s speaking has had a huge impact on my life. He is my hero. Brought tears to my eyes when he shared about his siblings.
Thanks Jeannie. He’s my hero too!

LOVE these two!
Loved the discussion with Josh and the godly wisdom!
I LOVE JOSH! He is like a big kid! Lol
That is a great way to describe him!
He uses a method that greg koukl wrote about in his book tactics. Many open air preachers or evangelists are now taught to use this technique

Wow, Rob, that was probably early 70s or so!
Amen!!!
Would you ever have your dad on your UA-cam channel for a live Q and A session? I know I would love to ask him questions.
Good suggestion, thanks!

It's so cute how Sean and his dad wear the same kind of sneakers!
I was thinking the same thing! My dad and brother do that too.
❤️

I honestly didn’t know Josh McDowell is your dad 😂
That’s cool. Yes he is!
Where can i find Josh McDowells debates
There’s one on UA-cam with Deedat
@@SeanMcDowell I have watched that. But what about the 200 debates
objective vs. subjective sounds dangerous
I left out Josh’s praise of intolerance.
What about pregnancies due to incest or rape?
38:48 ? Censor 3 seconds
I think the audio just cut out
Thank you for clarifying.
Those dont look like shoes two old men would wear bahaha.
