"it was my favourite one" things you come to realise only after you've been plummed. God this whole scene is just perfection.

How is the Capri more charismatic than the 300zx or 944?

It is not about which car is better. Capri is a car from the 70s. Put that body shape in that context. In total, more than 1,800,000 units were produced. Compare that to the 160,000 Nissan 300zx. Capri had a great influence on car design. Nissan was just another sports car. Pretty good, but still...

@@amirdezic7338 Personally I think you can't really measure charisma, it's just which car is more exciting or elegant.

@@sukhdevr3489 Back then Capri was very exciting and elegant. By today's standards it's a bag of bolts wrapped in rusted sheets of poorly protected metal. Nissan is a million times better car, but you missed the point. There's a reason why more than 1,800,000 Capris have been sold. People really liked them. Many millions of people because we have to add used Capri owners. Charisma is measurable to some extent, but personal affection for a model is difficult to measure. Don't mix the two things up. The Capri is iconic because Ford hit an almost empty niche on the market and designed a relatively affordable sports car with interesting looks and decent usability for a family man. Neither performance nor quality made it charismatic. It is a complete package that was very desirable compared to the competition AT THE TIME. The Nissan 300zx didn't shake up European auto industry, while the Ford Capri did it to some extent. I'm a bit older, so I remember when both cars came out. Believe me, almost every little kid knew a lot about Capri. It was a wet dream for the entire middle class, and at the same time it was not really unattainable for those who were a little braver or had a slightly better income. That's why there were a lot of them on the roads.

"In conclusion, you are a vicious homosexual" - Jezza wanted to say, but then immediately switched to commenting James's car XD
