Herbal Kombucha Brewing using herbs for tea

Someone gave me a scoby and I wanted to make herbal kombucha. I'm also fighting diabetes, so I let it get very dry. Thank you for showing your scobys. They gave me little raggy scobys and my first scoby is thick like your. I thought something went wrong. ❤

Do you do a second fermentation for obtaining a fizzy drink?

Thanks for your question! No I do not. I have not tried juices in the first fermentation. But in a second fermentation after removing the scoby I have used lemon juice and other juices.
