Many carpets are used by the owner in the garden for weekend cleaning, but they are not properly maintained and many are used at work and outdoors. Some of the carpets that come to our center are due to flood damage, and some are due to sewage overflow damage

I think it would be a good idea to wear masks while cleaning a carpet that potentially has had sewage exposure, any aerosol and spray of water around your face, eyes, mouth and nose could expose you to harmful infections. A face shield maybe helpful also.

Florals in Persian designs look more "stylized", which is apparently how designs go, the longer the form has been around, the more stylized it gets, like Ancient Egyptian floral repetitive patterns (I read that somewhere). It's very relaxing watching your excellent and very thorough work, but it does make me think about finding a Persian runner to buy for myself (and washing the rugs I have 😅 ).

I saw him/them clean both sides. And kept washing until the water rinsed clean, underneath and on the topside. You can tell it was completely saturated in very fine elements of dirt & other types of filth and debris. He was very thorough.
